Censored Stuff

I don't understand why the government tries to block stuff out. That's our problem, America. We always try to hide stuff instead of showing the ugly truth. I think I sound like Bernie Mac (R.I.P.).

But seriously, they censor everything. Music, movies, books, tv, etc. They mainly block racist or homophobic sayings, and the normal stuff: violence, nipples, nudity, and profanity.

I hate when people lie. I don't have to cover anything so don't cover anything from me. The honest to God truth and nothing less. Although, I understand everyone has secrets and bleh bleh bleh! But if it's out in the open what is left?

There was this one book I read, And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. Great book and all. I searched more on the author but other stuff popped up in the search. I found out the title was originally called Ten Little Niggers then Ten Little Indians and finally to And Then There Were None. Some details in the book were changed also. I didn't know how I felt about it but I knew I would've viewed it differently.

I mean, I'm not upset -anymore- but it would've been nice to know I was reading a fucking racist book. It's pretty old too so racism was still alive and well.

I don't understand the need for censors either. When they bleep out something kids automatically know it's bad and can fill in the blank. They're unnecessary.

Everyone doesn't agree with me. "Would you want your six your old picking up a book about sex and violence and drugs?" First of all, you shouldn't have that book in your house in the first place since you're so concerned. Second, if that's what they want to read. I can answer all their questions and tell them not to do it but I don't want them to be oblivious.

Life doesn't have a censor on this bitch. Expect the unexpected. Ain't shit sweet and/or won't forever be.
