chapter 20

Clarie's  pov

I woke up to a morning that was beautiful as usual.

The tiny rays of light that managed to escape into my room
The cold breeze coming from my window
The sounds of birds tweeting from afar and of course the smell of freshly baked cookies

Everything and more especially the good vibe I was having of today made my morning feel good

The Snow was pretty much heavy today so I wore a white long sleeve crop top. I love crop tops. With a pair of red pants and my white high tops.

I packed my hair in a pony tail and did simple make up

I was ready for school
But I won't be leaving if I didn't have some of those cookies that I smelt when I woke

I ran down the stairs making my hair swing from left to right

"I hope you reserved some of those cookies for me"
I said to my mom and Laura as I got into the kitchen

"sure! "
Laura grimaced

She poured me a cup of milk and added a little honey as my mom served my cookies. I love milk and cookies, to be sincere who doesn't.

I enjoyed the rich milky goodness In both elements till I was done

I said bye and soon enough I was in my car
I touched up my lipstick a bit before I started driving

I got to the school's parking lot and what happened the last time I was here made my stomach tighten

I took a deep breath right before I opened my door and walked out of my comfort zone and into the school premises

I opened the door and the school hallway was revealed

I walked in and went to my locker to get ready for my first class

The annoying sounds of girls asking Eiden meaningless questions behind me was driving me crazy

Girls throw themselves at him every single day at school

I looked back slightly to count how many they are but that was impossible

I couldn't even see Eiden's face all I heard was his voice

As I closed my locker when I finished up I finally saw his face right before he kissed the Captain of the cheerleaders

What the hell!

The hair at the back of my neck stood at end and my nerves became racked

What's going on with me

I couldn't just take it

I walked up the stairs and straight into my first class AP history like someone who has just seen the worst

My good vibe and all happiness of today was crushed

I had history class without Eiden
He doesn't take history

The other classes with him, I completely ignored him and talked with the guys and the girls especially Brody

Well Brody was flirting with a girl while talking to me

The annoying yet joyful sound which drives all students crazy and out of their classes sounded

I got up from my seat and left my last class before lunch. . .Geography

I didn't want to talk to Eiden so I walked with Ashley and Emma straight to the cafeteria
