Christmas Eve. . .
"here, put this one" Brian gave me another Christmas ball to put on the tree.
Brian and I were decorating the tree,
Scott and Jackson were helping Emily and Ashley in the kitchen,That's weird, they usually go to steal food and not help. Sam and Brody were decorating inside the house while Eiden, Emma and Tracy were decorating outside.
"lunch is ready" Emily said from the kitchen
"Last person to the dining room gets to wash the dishes" Scott said coming from the kitchen with an apron around his neck and tied around his waist, totally weird.
It was like he casted a spell, because everyone ran from where they were to the dining room
"chill guys, it's just dishes" Jackson smirked
"It works all the time" Scott said, a smug grin plastered on his face
"OK we made vegetable and chicken fried rice" Jackson said opening a serving pan
"Hmmm, smells delicious" Emma said rubbing her palms together
"wait till you taste it" Jackson winked at Emma making her flush pink
"OK, that's enough will you serve the food already" I said
Damn I'm so hungry, and when I am. . . I get cranky
"OK but calm down" Jackson teased before serving
"uhm, so since no one wants to miss the Party tonight why don't I just come with y'all" Brain said casually trying to put his hand around Scott's shoulder but failed miserably.
"little boy you aren't going to any party got that" Sam said sounding all fatherly
"Brian we already talked about this" Ashley said
"yeah. . . I'll stay home alone till you all come back" he recited clearly not interested
"I can stay with you for a little while till you fall asleep" Ashley said and Brian's face brightened almost immediately
"best cousin in the whole world" Brian ran around the table to hug Ashley. And to think she didn't want him to come at first. She smiled softly patting his back
"can I have ice cream too?" he asked making a cute puppy dog look, that no one, not even Eiden and Sam are immune to. Yeah they are they weird people in this gathering.
"uhm. Yeah sure" Ashley said and Brian just went over the moon in joy, clearly she has made his day.
"I wish I had a younger brother" I said
"what! Another crazily annoying sibling. Hell No!" Sam retorted
"If you mean yourself that fine, doesn't mean the next one's going to be like you" I gave a smug smile
"Brat!. And besides mom and dad are not planning on having any more kids"
"how do you know that uh? " I said with my eyebrows raised in expectations
"well, because mom has been using her contraceptive pills for over five years and that has been using-"
"please you two we are eating" Emma cut Sam shut with a look of irritation
"only because of that reason will I stop as the more mature one" I pointed at myself and Sam and Eiden chocked on their food. Good riddance.
"you?

Yeah right" Sam said mockingly earning a scowl from me
"ignorant jerk" I rolled my eyes
