Clarie's pov

The car wipers were continuously wiping the snow off of the windscreen solemnly. . .

I could still feel the cold sipping in even though the heater and chair warmer were turned on.

We were driving on the highway passing through the only space the snow hasn't beautified with its heavily, cascading white powder.

We were right behind Sam and Emily on the road, we all were driving in a straight line following each other closely.

I remember one time when a cab got in between Brody's car and our car, Brody didn't stop horning till the poor man drove away. He had an expression of 'what the hell is wrong with these kids" as he drove by us.

It was two hours into the trip when my stomach growled reminding me that I had little or no breakfast. . . Thanks Sam

"that's not good" Eiden smirked giving me a quick glance

"do you seriously hear everything" I rolled my eyes

I think my boyfriend is a werewolf!

"no. . . that was just pretty loud" he grinned

"no it wasn't" I protested

"It was, and I better get you some food before you go all cranky and sappy" he smiled

I glared at Sam's car wanting him to see how hungry and angry I am right now

"let me guess. . ." Eiden said taking his phone from his pocket

"Sam ate my breakfast" I sighed

"hey. . . I was about to say that" he said with a fake whine

He gave me his phone " tell everyone we'll stop at the very next Gas Station we see" he said with his eyes on the road

"what!, why" I asked

"because my girl is hungry" he said with an obvious look with his brows arced

I gave a little smile. I love when he calls me 'his girl'

I sent the message to our group chat that we recently added Sam and Emily to.

Brody texted back immediately.
"Finally! ☺. I thought we were going to starve through out the drive"

"Brody your trunk is half filled with snacks!" Scott texted

"a man needs to eat to stay alive man" Brody responded

"😑" Scott texted

"why didn't anyone tell me about him 😐" Tracy texted

"😯
We don't snitch" I texted grinning

"she's right" Emma responded . . .

And the chatting went on and on till we got to a Gas Station

Eiden opened the door for me like he always does making me feel weird.

"you don't have to do this every time you know" I sighed as he held my hand pulling me out of the car.

"I'm not complaining" he put his hands around my waist and his chin on my shoulder "I never will" he whispered into my ear making me shiver. He was doing things to my insides.

He turned me around and kissed my forehead "now let's get you some food" he smiled

All I could do was nod.

I'm a real case. . .

I couldn't even respond the way I was supposed to.

We both walked into a restaurant beside the Gas Stations mini mart.

"yummm. . . Now this is what I'm talking about" Emma sighed as she took a bite of her hamburger

We all stared at her astounded

Everyone knows Emma to be an healthy eater, and also someone who doesn't sigh with satisfaction when eating. That's Brody's thing.

She looked up at us with widened eyes "what!. . ." she asked
"the burger tastes really good"

"oh. . ." we each said with realisation making her roll her eyes

"Eiden. . . " Brian called with his adorable Voice.

"Hmmm. . ." Eiden looked up to meet Brian's gaze

"so how many more hours would he take for us to your beach house?" he asked

"about an hour and a half" Eiden responded after drinking from his soda.

"oh great" he sighed in relief

When we got outside and filled out tanks I felt someone groaning and lightly tapping my hip.

I turned around immediately out of instinct and fear.

I turned to see Brian with his travelling bag. He was holding it in his arms almost killing himself. The bag definitely weighed more than him.

His expression spelt 'help me!'. I took the bag off of his arms and dropped it on the ground.

"Brian!. . ." I called
"what are you doing here with your bag, Ashley and Scott would move soon"

"I. . . Don't" he breathed "I can't go with them anymore"

"what!, why. . ."

"why?" he asked with an obvious look
"the reason is my cousin and her boyfriend are both crazy"

I was surprised by Brian's words and asked him why he said that "and why did you say that Brian?"

"because we almost crashed one time when they were kissing and smooching and touching"

"oh. . ." I said with understanding

"I mean I woke up and found them kissing! No one was driving, and we were almost hitting Brody's car!" he explained everything exclaiming and gesturing with his hands.

"aren't you exaggerating" I said to him

"no I'm not, and I'll really love to go with you and Eiden now"

I chuckled at the exact time Eiden drove the car to us

"let's go babe" he said

"Brian wants to ride with us" I said

"why?" Eiden asked

I and Brian told him everything and he gave both of us his blank look till he said "alright fine, but ask Ashley first"

Brian came back with an ecstatic look plastered on his face "she said I can go with whom ever I want, but I shouldn't embarrass her" he said in a low voice finally.

"good!. Get in" Eiden said

He helped him put his bag in the trunk and got into the car afterwards

"so Brian. . ." I called him

"Hmmm" he was so engrossed with his phone. What could a ten year old be doing on his phone that'll make him be so focused.

"why did you decide to come with Eiden and I, you could have gone with Brody you know, he has a lot of treats in his trunk"

"nop. . .you two are cooler, and please promise me you two won't kiss in front of me or make us crash" he said sitting in the middle of the seat and looking at both of us as he talked

"well I can't promise that we won't kiss but I can promise that we won't crash" Eiden said intertwining his hands with mine on my lap

Brian shook his head "well that's good enough. My parents kiss a lot in front of me anyway" he said before resting his back on the seat and using his seatbelt
