Seperate Departures

Judal decided to wait for Alibaba to wake up.

He messed around a lot during that time. And Yunan didn't find his presence that displeasing either.

The first days Judal passed all of his time by Alibaba's side.

He was very sad to see Alibaba in that state. But he also found it understandable due to the 2 years his body wasn't used.

When Yunan explained to him that after waking up, Alibaba would have to pass through his rehabilitation, Judal decided on going on ahead of him. There was a place he had to go after all, before returning to Hakuryuu and the others.

That way Judal set out to visit his hometown. Visiting that place that was now vaguely a part of his memories was the first thing he felt he should do after being finally free from Al Thamen.

Before leaving he decided to write a letter for Alibaba.

Although the first part was his honest feelings of gratitude and his new ways of thinking, he thought it was too embarrassing and begun complaining about every little detail during the journey, claiming the first part was a joke. He believed in Alibaba seeing through all of that though.

Leaving the letter at that, he left.

"Gonna go now! Say 'bye' to Alibaba for me~~"

He bid Yunan farewell and left.

Yunan checking over the contents of the letter, he teared it apart thinking Judal was honest.

So that letter never reached Alibaba.

When Alibaba first woke up, he was in a state of confusion. Looking around while trying to move.

He couldn't move at all. When he realized that he became nervous.

Yunan's voice brought him back to reality, explaining to him what had happened in the last 2 and something years. Also presenting the subject of his rehabilitation which started almost immediately.

Alibaba was quite surprised to hear all those things about the new world that was created mainly by Sinbad.

When he finally calmed down and put everything in the right order, he realized Judal was nowhere to be found.

When he asked Yunan about it he replied that the other had left already. But he didn't disclose his destination.

Alibaba asked if he had left a letter or something but Yunan after sighing said...

"He did! But it was such a cruel letter! So I threw it away! Oh but nothing about his destination was written."

Actually Judal had mentioned 'there's a place I really have to go and you made me realize that so I will take this chance to take a look'. Alibaba, after the countless conversations he had with Judal in the last 2 years, he could have surely understood what that meant, but Yunan couldn't possibly understand.

When Alibaba was finally done with his rehabilitation, he set out to meet with Sinbad. He could worry about Judal after he learnt more about the world's current state.

Also... he believed that Judal would come back on his own eventually and set off to meet Sinbad...

Welp Magi ended and everyone seem dissatisfied with the ending but tbh I like it! I love it! Because Magi was always a manga of adventure and mystery and confusion and it still is! I love how Ohtaka-sensei leaves everything up to our imagination :')

Anyway with this and that we are finally in line for the final arc of this fanfiction as well! I have no idea how long it will take but I hope you will stick around till the end ^^
