Temporary Peace

Morning came. Alibaba enjoyed the feeling he was getting as he woke up besides Judal, holding him tenderly.

He could get used to this sight. He was reluctant to get up and disturb the raven's sleep but he had no choice.

Why? Because a certain former emperor was knocking on their door and if Alibaba wanted to prevent him from waking up his "sleeping beauty" then he needed to get up despite how comfortable he was.

Hakuryuu had come to wake them up and urge them to leave for Kou as soon as possible. Alibaba agreed with that. He was still a councellor in Kou and he had all the intention to keep on aiding Kougyoku in her struggle to renew Kou.

Love and peace could wait for after that.

They ended up literally pulling Judal all the way outside. He was still a child at heart and he had gone to sleep late so he needed some sufficient "beauty" sleep, meaning he needed to stay in bed at least until noon.

Hakuryuu was probably well aware of that habit of his but kept pulling on him nontheless. He was alarmed. His sister was alright and Kou was starting to reestablish itself but the danger was still there. Evident in his eyes. That was Sinbad. The reason why Alibaba was so acceptable of Hakuryuu's haste was because he himself was in doubt of the danger that was yet to arise. Both had a certain individual in mind, Sinbad.

They did let some time for Judal to bid farewell to the villagers and then they departed. Still seeing Judal amongst so many kindhearted "weak" people of differing ages was a sight to behold. Not to mention that he was very cheerful in response to it all despite being....well.... violently waked up.
They reached Kou shortly after with the help of Judal's transportation magic. They reached Kou in a matter of minutes arousing many surprised gazes from everyone in the palace.

Kougyoku was pleased to see everyone. In the meantime Aladdin and Morgiana were questioning both Hakuryuu and Alibaba for up and leaving just like that.

Aladdin was fast to offer an apology to the depraved magi who could only scoff in return. And this might be surprising for most but after being sure to hide his face from all eyes he offered a low-volume apology to the younger magi, who could-unfortunately for Judal-not be reffered to as "chibi" anymore.

They held on to a temporary peace for a while. Kou was in a dire situation but it kept going strong, regaining its power. And all of them were aiding for that.

Alibaba and Judal had indulged in the hobby of sleeping together at nights. Of course-in response to Judal's request to keep the whole thing a secret- nobody knew about this apart from Hakuryuu who had the luck to stumble on Judal at night while he was secretly making his way to the blond's bedroom.

It did not take much time for Aladdin to realise this whole thing though. He was surprised at first at Judal's constant visits. Later he got curious as to what they were doing all night. Yes, he relayed on eavesdropping after that.

At first he did not understand much. As most of the time the two just chatted a bit about nonexistent nothings and then fell to sleep after some strange sound effects at least.

It wasn't until he consulted Hakuryuu that he learnt the truth. A shocking truth it was indeed and he could now pinpoint that most of the sound effects were sounds from kisses and the before-bed chitchat was a lover's report on each other's life.

And what did you know? Hakuryuu stalked Aladdin one night and learnt the place he managed to eavesdrop from. He was so enthusiastic or more he was waiting for something more than a kiss to happen. Something more.....deep.

Such a day never came though. The temporary peace they had was broken up ruthlessly when everyone started sprouting nonsense and having drastic changes in their behavior.

Some days before that Hakuryuu and Judal had taken off alone to go meet the Kou siblings that were still exiled. Hakuryuu still wanted to express his gratitude and Judal wanted to see them. Especially Kouha.

Even though he never admitted to it he considered Kouha a nice friend. For all the havoc and trouble he was bringing onto the palace it was only Kouha who let himself be humored by the magi. And Judal was grateful for that.

They greeted them, said what they had to say and departed. The next day they had returned to Kou and were talking with Kougyoku on something. But something was off with her. Extremely off. She was saying strange things of allying herself with Sindria company and things.

They looked amongst themselves and excused themselves. They didn't stay in the palace but run away to see if this change had taken part only in her or if it had something to do with other things. They decided to surveillance Sinbad's office as much as they could and that was what they did.

On the other hand Alibaba and Aladdin were shocked to see the Kougyoku, Muu and even the king of Kina suddenly ally themselves to Sinbad.

They couldn't believe their ears and realized. If this was the work of someone then that someone was Sinbad. Without farther ado they made their way to his office and demanded to see him.

He accepted them and didn't hesitate to tell them the truth. It is not that what he said had no conherence but it still felt wrong. Extremely so.

They retorted and they denied his ideal plan. They were going to stop him. They had decided on that!

But they needed help and Hakuryuu and Judal were just outside the current "God's" office. Meeting was inevitable. And like that the "stronger"-one could call it-alliance was made.

Did I just write 1k again? XD ok this story is indeed reaching its climax soon. I still haven't planned it out and I can't speak of exact number of chapters but there aren't much left....
