Departure

"I wander if it's okay for me to fall in love....."

Judal wispered to himself.

It's been about a week since Alibaba confessed to him. And about a month since he came to live there....

'I will have to leave soon... I have to amswer him....'

Judal didn't remember if he had even told the prince when he was leaving.

Either way Alibaba was the same as always... cheerful.... happy.... everything......

Even for the last one week they were playing like normal.

That day Judal's thoughts were disturbed by a certain blond entering the room around midnight to grab the Magi and pull him all the way to who knows where!

"Where are you even going Alibaba!?"

"....I wanna visit my home."

"Isn't your home here!?"

"....You see I was born in the slums... My mother was just a servant and prostitute to the king....."

"....I see.... so you wanna go back there to see your mum?"

"My mum is dead... she died from illness..... But... I have something like a big brother and a little sister there. I wanna see them!"

"How are you even gonna go out of the palace!?"

"With my tunnels!"

"Hah!?"

Judal kept being pulled around. They were out of the castle.

"S...stop for a second..... I am tired okay?"

"Ah right. Judal had no stamina."

"Shut up!!"

Moving on Alibaba was awaiting to see the slums....

But nothing was there.

"Why.... where are everyone...... Kassim...... Marian.........."

".....A disease was spread here apparently. I heard it from some merchant in Kou....."

"......why didn't anyone tell me!?"

Seeing Alibaba nearly crying Judal hugged him from behind and patted his head gently.

"Uum.... Maybe they are still okay... Maybe they went somewhere else so...."

"Thanks Judal but.... I know.... the chances they survived are slim......"

Alibaba wiped his tears and made a brave face.

"Alibaba...."

"Sorry Judal.... I wanted to at least introduce you to them before you leave.... You are a bit like Kassim so... I thought the two of you could be friends too....."

"Ah.... it's okay...... don't worry about it....."

"Judal... you are gonna leave right?"

"Y...yeah.... the month is almost over after all....."

"I-if my father accepts your offer.... would you be able to stay more?"

"Uum.... I don't think so.... but at least I would be able to come visit I guess.... Will you be lonely?"

"Yeah.... Because.... since I came to the palace Judal is my only friend so far... and I really love you.... so it's normal right?"

"...... Well.... actually.... you are my only friend too..... I am not really well with making friends...."

"Is that so??"

"Yeah. So we are the same. So... even if I am not here, we will always be connected!"

Judal said smiling gently to the other. But even so some tears were coming out his big red eyes.

Alibaba show them.

He now hugged the other and whispered kindly.

"Yeah. That's right. We will be connected. No matter what!"

"I wouldn't cry that easily!"

"Yeah sure whatever Judal.... More like I think you are crying now too...."

"I am not!! Stupid!!"

"But I didn't think Judal could say something so.....cute....."

"Shut up!!!"

"Okay okay let's move on~"

The day of the departure came.

King Rashid hadn't yet answered, he would send the official notice some days later.

Yet Judal left.

While on the ship returning in Kou Judal was onboard waving at Alibaba.

Alibaba from the port waved at Judal too.....

Will the two meet again....? Was something both wondered.........

Note: I am not sure whether I will get a continuation for the kids arc or gonna return to present as Judal FINALLY RETURNED!!! And the reunion with Alibaba was so shippable xD Anyway wait till next week for that? If you have a preference comment xD
