Alibaba x Judal

End or Start or Both

After a while Hakuei and Kouen arrived to help. Sinbad in the meantime managed to contain David for a while long enough to undo the brainwashing. Now everyone had come together to fight.

Some towers suddenly appeared all over the world. Sinbad explained about them through Solomon's wisdom.

"You can either destroy them, but that will give an end to the magi and metal vessel system completely, or give your rukh to a single metal vessel and cause a distortion in dimensions. I believe the one better suited for this is Alibaba."

Everyone thought about it. Most came to the conclusion that Sinbad was right and they were determined to entrust the world to Alibaba.

Judal stood behind him now, staring at his back as he listened to Sinbad.

He didn't speak but having passed 2 years with Alibaba he knew too well his answer. Alibaba wouldn't accept. He doesn't even have the confidence to do it. And it doesn't suit him.

Judal grinned to himself as he repeated his thoughts on Alibaba. How did he fall for such an idiot again?

Alibaba too didn't waver. He immediately answered.

"I refuse. Let's do it together. Let's create a new world together! Everyone have their own strengths and weaknesses. Nobody is perfect and neither am I. Let's destroy the towers. We will deal with the future in the future!"

He smiled widely for everyone to see. He was honest and unusually so beaming with confidence.

One way or another everyone were convinced and begun their attack on the towers.

Judal had some slight hesitation though after he thought about it for a bit.

If the magi system crumbles, he won't be a magi anymore. And Alibaba won't be a king vessel. He might not have been the one to go into the dungeon with Alibaba but he was convinced of making him a king now. He wouldn't be able to do that from now on. And even though Alibaba is capable enough for most things even without a metal vessel, Judal was weak without his magi powers and even weaker if he couldn't use magic at all... He was afraid, really, honestly afraid about what he would do in the future. But Alibaba's final words before they begun and a side grin from him was all that was needed.

Judal smiled in loss.

"I would hate it if the magi system goes down but seems like it can't be helped, huh.... Let's do this!"

It wasn't easy destroying the towers. But they were a lot of metal vessels there, each and every one of them strong enough.

The towers were destroyed.

The angels of death disappeared, crumbled away, Sinbad's voice was completely lost and any trace of him lost as well.

Everyone were tired their magoi having run out they could only lie down on the ground next to the last tower they attacked.

Coincidentally, the last tower Alibaba had gone to destroy was the same as Judal's last tower. They were alone, lying down next to the ruins.

"We did it, huh..." Judal panted.

"Yeah. We did." Alibaba exclaimed through deep breaths.

"I am tired as hell..."

"Same!"

"It's over huh..."

"No, this is just the start."

"I guess so."

"Let's make that democratic country after things have settled down."

"Wow you still remember that?"

"Is that a no?"

"It's a fucking yes! Haha!" Judal laughed wholeheartedly.

They were about 1 meter apart, they let their hands trail off reaching for one another's hand. Their fingers intertwining gently, smoothly, warming up their tired hands...

"Judal, I love you. More than anything else."

"How stupid! You have things you love more! Your friends, your country, your comrades. Don't worry, I am not a girl. I won't be that needy of your attention!" Judal grinned.

"You just insulted all girls in the world you know."

"Who cares anyway, there's no girl here to hear us."

"Yeah... but it's not like that. Certainly I love many things. I have many important things to me. I won't deny that. But Judal is my number one."

Judal's face flushed in a deep red color and he abruptly turned the other way to hide it.

"I love you too..." He murmured in an audible whisper.

"Did you say something?"

He shaked his head and smiled in a childish way.

It was the end and the start...
