Alibaba x Judal

The truth

The next morning Judal woke up in the same room, in the same bed.

The only difference was that Alibaba was still embracing him tenderly, having fallen asleep himself.

Judal felt his eyes heavy and sore. He didn't remember last night too well. But he remembered he was crying. And that a warm pair of arms soothed him... So it was Alibaba...

Judal felt a bit confident in the decision to betray Al Thamen after all.

Moreover Alibaba was willing to hear him out this time.

He had a hunch Alibaba would believe him... no matter what.

That's why he shook the other gently to wake him up.

Alibaba opened an eye in question and slowly stirred up, looking at the other sheepishly.

"You know Alibaba... sorry about yesterday... I kinda lost it... I bet you freaked out, heheh... sorry about that."

"It's okay Judal... I am sorry for calling you names too. No matter how angry or uncertain I was I shouldn't have sayed such things..."

"Alibaba... I will tell you the truth, okay? Will you listen to me?"

"Of course I will. Please tell me. I have calmed down myself after a night's sleep."

In reality it has been already 2-3 days from the fight but Alibaba had been unable to sleep. Maybe Judal helped him fall asleep? Alibaba was sure that was the case but kept all that to himself...

Judal went ahead to explain to him how he did his best to save his friend by taking the black rukh to himself as well as why he had to lie to him about it at the time to fool Al Thamen.

Alibaba was reassured to hear all that but he also felt so bad for saying those things to Judal.

"Ah... But did your friend survive in the end?"

"Hm...? Yeah. Thanks to you and Aladdin. He is still recovering but the doctor said he would be fine."

"I'm glad."

Alibaba felt kinda proud for Judal inside him and he unconsciously patted his head.

"Judal has matured, heh... Thank you. I really owe you for this one."

Judal blushed and looked the other way.

"Y-you're welcome I guess..."

Alibaba chuckled.

Seeing Alibaba happy like that, Judal was reluctant to break the news to him... But he had no choice...

"Uum... Alibaba... I will need your help..."

"Hm? What is it? Suddenly getting so serious?"

"I did say I betrayed Al Thamen, right? They are bound to come take me back or kill me... but in my state... I can't fight."

"Eh? Is it that bad!? Well I wouldn't mind protecting you but... why is it that you can't fight?"

Judal held his hands with the magic shackles up.

"These shackles are restraining my magic. I can't use magic right now."

"Oh! Then that is bad... But how can we take them off?"

"I guess if it was another wizard they might be able to take them off... But I am not friends with any wizard outside Al Thamen."

"Oh! We can ask Aladdin to help!"

"I don't think he has the knowledge to use such a complicated spell but... even if he does... do you really think he will be willing to help me ?"

Alibaba understood immediately what Judal was talking about.

But was not sure how to answer...

I made it just in time to update for this month xD
And worse is next month I have finals and I don't know what to do....
