Where the mind drifts

Looking around the new world Alibaba found many things to be shocked at. Thankfully Yunan had given him a magical broom to move around.

Somehow though he thought the journey was extremely long...

Indeed after almost 3 years of waiting, his patience started running out.

He met quite the trouble trying to meet with Sinbad, but he managed somehow...

Sinbad sent him off to the Kou Empire after explaining many things to him.

He also assured him that he was not David. But Alibaba wasn't completely convinced about it.

Despite that he accepted Sinbad's help and set off to Kou.

Again the city was making him so anxious. Flying ships. Magic tools. Everywhere.

If Judal was there he would probably get excited at the sight. Somehow Alibaba couldn't concentrate on his destination.

Every now and then his mind would drift to Judal and start thinking of possible places that he would be.

Nothing came to mind... or more like, too many possibilities came to mind...

He could have gone to Sinbad. That was the most likely to happen and indeed he wasn't there. Hell, Sinbad didn't even know he died.

He could have gone to Kou. To Hakuryuu or Kougyoku at that.

Or he could have gone with Aladdin...? That seems very unlikely as well though.

Where could he be...?

With one thing or another he managed to get to Kou and meet Kougyoku.

She too knew nothing of Judal's whereabouts as it would seem. She had no idea he was even alive.

On the other hand she seemed to know something about Aladdin and the others.

Apparently Kou was at the end of the rope with the new system developed by Sinbad.

He decided to side with Kou and help them as much as he could.

And indeed with his innovations Kou empire started to stand on its own. Of course that was only possible due to the Empress', Kougyoku's determination and the willpower of the citizens.

Seeing that the palace was still more or less intact, he asked her about Judal's former room.

"Judal-chan's room? Why would you wanna see such a thing?"

She titled her head to the side in question.

"Eh? N-nothing really! J-just! He was soo spoiled back 3 years ago and I just wanna take a look at how he was brought up or something?"

He said as calmly and not interested as he could.

Kougyoku looked at him suspiciously but thankfully and for the time being didn't push the subject farther.

"If I recall correctly it isn't used by anyone as of now.... So I can show you there."

Alibaba followed after Kougyoku obediently and with the sides of his mouth twitching.

He was quite interested to see how Judal had grown up. If he could find something about him in there too it would be good as well.

As he followed behind the young Queen, he heard a gentle sobbing.

"Kougyoku?"

"No! Ehm! It's nothing! *sob* Just... I haven't come around this part of the palace in so long.... I thought Judal-chan was dead so I am really happy to hear he is okay!"

"Oh... I see. I am sure he will be back soon!"

Alibaba smiled gently at her and patted her head.

"Yeah!"

She smiled back at him...

"Is this it?"

Alibaba asked after Kougyoku stopped walking a while later.

"Yes. It's here. Feel free to investigate anything you feel like! It's pretty dirty tho haha!"

She chuckled and left quitly.

Alibaba entered the room and begun fondling around until...
