•Third Person POV•

"You look so cute, Axel."
Axel blushed at Chance's comment. They were sitting in the park on a crisp fall morning, the air cold, leaving everyone with rosy cheeks. Chance and Axel sat on a bench, Chance's arm wrapped around Axel's shoulders, and Axel's arm wrapped around Chance's waist. Axel had been wearing his red jacket, a pair of black-ripped skinny jeans and a red beanie. He didn't own the red beanie, it was Chance's, but Chance thought Axel looked cute in it.
Axel giggled. "Thanks, Chance."
His eyes wandered around the park, admiring every detail in the way the frost-covered grass crunched under his feet, the way the wind blew, twisting through each strand of his hair, the way he had his arm wrapped around Chance, not caring about what other people might think. This is how Axel felt, and he didn't want anything less than this, and neither did Chance. They both wanted to stay like this forever.

"Chance!" Emmett says, pulling Chance out of his thoughts. He had been daydreaming, again.
"Yeah..?" He says, furrowing his eyebrows.
"Were you not listening?!" Emmett exclaims, earning a chuckle out of Alissa.
"No, sorry. What's up?" Chance asks, putting his foot up against his locker.
"Axel has a new fling." Alissa says, excitedly. Chance's eyes widen and he stumbles over his own feet. He can feel all the colour draining from his face. Yeah he knows Axel would move on, but Chance didn't think it would be so soon. They only broke up four months ago, had it been that easy for Axel to get over Chance?
"You okay, Chance?" Asks Emmett. Chance nods, hesitantly. "I-I have to go to the washroom."
Chance runs to the bathroom, and locks himself in a stall. Tears threaten to fall from his eyes, and he tries to hold them in, but his body won't let him. Tears roll down his cheeks, and Chance doesn't even understand why he's crying. Then it hits Chance; he might say that he hates Axel, but the truth is he still wants to be with him.
