Axel sits at the cafeteria table with his group of friends, mainly trying not to cry. He tries to keep his breathing steady or else he might break.
Axel lets out a sigh he doesn't know he was holding in, which earns him a confused look from Chance. "Are you sure you're okay, babe?" He asks. The green-eyed boy nods, muttering a quiet 'yes'. Chance grabs Axel's hand and squeezes it reassuringly.
"So," Alissa begins. "Are we still going to that party Dylan's hosting?" She asks. Axel looks over at Chance, who nods. "Uhh.. yeah." He says.
"Great!" Alissa and Emmett say in unison. Axel and Chance just nod.
The rest of the lunch break goes by and the four walk to their next classes. Before class Axel walks into the bathroom and gives himself a small pep talk. "It's okay.." he tells himself. "Chance loves you.."
"Chance would never intend on hurting me.." he says. "..would he...?"

The last person Alissa expects to show up and talk to her is Dylan. She wonders why he wants to talk to her.
"So." Alissa says. "What do you want to talk about?" She asks him. His brows furrow before he speaks. "I need your help with something.." he says.
"With what?" Alissa asks, confusion laced in her voice. "With a plan I have for the party," Dylan begins. "I'll make you a deal.."

She accepted the deal.
