•Axel's POV•

My breath hitches when I see who's at my door.
"C-Chance?" I begin. "Wha- why..?"
Chance looks at me with a worried look on his face. "Axel, you.. look awful."
"Chance, you can't be here.." I say.
"What? Why?" He asks.
I frown. "I-It's.. My dad.. look you need to leave Chance..! My dad can't find you here.. h-he'll.."
"Axel, you're about to cry.. Are yo-"
"C-Chance please.. just go. I'll tell you e-everything.. at school tomorrow.. Okay..?" I stammer.
"O-Okay.." He says before walking away.

I shut the door and put my back to the door. I slide to the floor, letting the tears that were swimming in my eyes fall down my face.
"Who was at the door?!" My father yells.
"N-No one.. just a door-to-door charity person.." I say.
I stand up and walk to my room, closing and locking the door behind me. I lay down on my bed and try to sleep, but thoughts about Chance consume my brain. Why was he here? Was he really worried about me? I mean that makes sense since he still loves me. At some point I end up falling asleep.

The sound of my alarm clock wakes me up. I groan and turn it off. I debate wether I should get up, but I promised Chance that I'd tell him everything at school. I get up and grab a pair of black skinny jeans, a white t-shirt, my red jacket and a pair of red converse. I grab my bag and head out the door.

When I get to school Chance immediately runs over to me. I swear when he wants to know something he'll follow you around like a lost puppy until you tell him.
"Care to explain what happened?" He asks.
"Okay, okay.." I begin. "But promise me you won't freak out?"
"I promise."
