•Axel's POV•

I blush furiously. Chance still likes me... He told Alissa that he's in love with me!
"A-Are you s-sure, Lissa?" I ask.
"100% positive." She says.

~timeskip~

"Alex, what am I supposed to do?" I ask my little pet owl.
"I don't know, Axel." He replies.
"That's very helpful thanks." I say sarcastically.
"Look," Alex begins. "If you think that you and Chance should get back together, then tell him that."
"You're right.."
"..Did they ask you why you were limping?" He asked.
I nod.
"Did you tell them why?" Alex asks.
"No."
"Well, are you going to tell them.?"
I sigh. "Probably not.."

~oh boi a timeskip~

•Chance's POV•

I walk to my locker before first period, but something is different.. People are whispering while I walk by. What's going on?? I try to ignore it by grabbing some food from my lunch bag. Just then Lilly comes over to me.
"Hey big bro!" She greets.
"Hey Lilly. Do you know why everyone's acting strange around me.?"
"Oh, that's what I was coming to talk to you about..." She says.
"What's going on?" I ask.
"Well, there's this rumour going around about.. you still liking Axel.."
My eyes widen. "W-What..!?" I ask.
Lilly nods. "Yeah.. I don't know who started it though.."
"I think I know who started it." I say. Only one person should know about that, and that person would be Alissa.
I have Alissa in my second class, so I can talk to her then.

~a wild timeskip appears~

When I enter my second period class, I feel like breaking something. Preferably Alissa's face. Alissa and I make eye contact, and my face contorts angrily. I walk over to her.
"Alissa, what the hell?!" I growl.
"What do you mean 'what the hell'?"
I pull her to the side of the class, so other people don't hear our conversation.
"Everyone knows that I still like Axel, and you are the only person I've told."
"Are you saying that you think I told everyone?!" Alissa retorts.
"Well all evidence points to you, Alissa!" I whisper-yell.
Alissa scoffs. "How dare you, Cha-"
"How dare I?! How dare you! You obviously told someone, and now everyone knows!" I shoot back.
"I didn't tell anyone!" She says.
I scoff. "Well, the look on your face begs to differ, Alissa."
