Two Weeks later Day P.O.V.

June and I walk into the school together. Everything is finally starting to return to normal since what happened with Kaede.

I still can't believe she did that. What could drive a person to end their own life? I don't think I'll ever understand it.

"Promise you won't get mad?" June asks looking over at me.

"I don't know what it is yet but I'll try not to." I say.

"I did something I probably shouldn't have done."

"What?" I ask.

"I kinda put a secret admirer note in Faith's locker because I know how jealous Anden gets." She whispers. Her breath on my neck sends shivers down my spine. I really need to tell her the truth like my grandma told me. I feel really bad.

"That's hilarious what did it say?" I ask.

"Okay so it said that he was really into Faith and I put a fake number on it at the end which is actually Eden's phone number." I laugh.

"You have Eden's number memorized?" I'm honestly not surprised.

"Yeah. I have yours, my parents, your parents, Eden's, my brother's, and I used to have John's number memorized." She says.

"I have your number memorized. And my parents. I don't even know my brothers' numbers." I say.

"Shame on you." She says lightly hitting my arm. I love this girl. I don't know why her hitting me makes me think about it but it does.

"I don't want to go to school." I whine.

"Me either." She says.

We walk into our first class, which is government. We have to take that class for one semester in high school. After this June and I are both signed up for an economicS class.

We walk in to our class and our teacher is Mr. S, aka Anden's Dad.

"Okay class." He starts. We all take our seats. "Today We are going to do a mock court. I usually give the highest grade in the class the position of judge but this year I've decided to have a Rock Paper Scissors War. First bracket the losers are part of the jury. And from there on I will decide your position." The highest grade is June no doubt. Does he hate June for what happened or is he just trying to change things up?

"The person at your table will be who you're up against in the first round." He says. I'm sitting by Mia, this girl Pascao likes. But he likes everyone. If you put a pile of dirt in front of him he'd find a way to flirt with it.

I turn to her and we play. She plays rock and I play scissors. Darn it!

Everyone starts to get up and move things around the room to form the court.

"What part are you?" June asks me.

"Jury." I groan.

"Me too." She says smiling.

"Oh. Well at least I won't be alone."

"Let's go get our seats." She suggests. We sit by each other.

All of the jury has a paper and pen in front of them. We have to vote at the end of the case on whether We think the defendant is guilty or innocent.

The court starts and we get about twenty minutes in before the bell.

"The rest of my classes are doing this today too. Go ahead and leave the desks as they are." Mr. S says as everyone is getting up to leave.

"See you in Physics." June says as we turn off different ways in the hall.

••••••

We are sitting at the lunch table when we hear a loud scream. Everyone in the cafeteria goes dead silent for a second.

"This can't be good." I say to June. "You've made her even more mad than you thought."

"We should go see what it is." She suggests. (A/N: since there is open campus the teachers don't mind if kids leave the cafeteria)

We both struggle to keep from laughing as we turn the corner into the hallway. I look over at June. Her face scrunches up a bit when she laughs and on almost anyone besides her it would be unattractive. But not her. It just makes her more beautiful.

"3.2.1" She says. We slowly walk across the hall and hide behind the door of a classroom.

"I can't believe that you're making such a big deal out of this!" Faith. She and Anden are standing by her locker.

"How could I not make a big deal out of this?" He asks angrily. I silently high five June.

"By staying calm. Please just calm down. I have no idea who this is and they mean nothing to me." Got that right. If you cared even the slightest about June you would never have done anything like what you did.

"That's not the point. You're my girlfriend not theirs. I don't want you talking to any other guys."

"Good thing you're not a guy." I whisper to June.

"I guess so." She says. Anden is crazy possessive. I cannot believe that June stayed with him that long.

"Okay so first of all I don't even know who they are, and second of all. You can't keep me from talking to people!" Faith yells. "Maybe this relationship should have just stayed the way it was!" You mean as an affair? "You are SO over possessive." She groans.

"Maybe it should've." Anden says quietly. "Gosh even June was better than you." A million times better boy. You don't deserve June and she most definitely doesn't deserve trash like you. Him and Faith really are both awful.

"You bet I was." June whispers. I laugh.

"Who's there?" Faith asks. "Come out here now!" Anden says.

I look at June in question. She shrugs. "Back me up." She mumbles and walks out. I quickly follow her.

"June." Faith growls.

"Talk to her like that again I dare you." I Say.

"What were you guys doing back there?" Anden questions.

"Oh it's really just a lovely place for friendly conversation, isn't that right Day?" June asks.

"Totally." I say.

"My my, isn't this great? It seems you've been caught in a lie. Now tell the truth or else, you know I have dirt on you Day." Anden threatens. Oh no. The things I said about June. I guess she needs to find out someday.

"Let's go Day." June says. We both start Walking aWay.

"June, Day loves you." Anden says. So closel

June turns around to face Anden. "Anden, Day hates you."
