June P.O.V.
It's two thirty and the jet is just landing. I'm exhausted. Why didn't my parents arrange it so we'd get home at a regular time?
I take my phone out and text Day. He told me to text him when we landed. He also said he might be here but I told him not to come.
Just landed-Me
We get off the jet and grab our luggage.
My mom and I sit inside the small building waiting for my dad to get the car. There's not any parking here so he had to park a few blocks away.Day walks up to me.
"Fancy meeting you here." He says sitting down next to me.
"I told you not to come." I say hugging him. It fills me with relief. I missed him a lot.
"I know." He says wrapping his arms around me. I let go of him and sit up. He takes my hand and intertwines it with his.
"Mind if I drop June off at your house?" Day asks my mom.
"Sure." My Mom says. "Go ahead and leave now."
"No Mom, we'll stay until Dad gets here." I say.
My dad walks up a few minutes later.
"Okay." He says. "Let's go."
Day and I walk the direction opposite them. We get into his dad's old truck.
"You should have seen the looks I got from some people parking in a airport full of private jets in an old Ford." He says.
"I know. Rich people are so annoying." I say. He gives me an odd look.
"Just the snobby ones."
"True. True. The rest are just a little annoying."
The next hour I listen to Day's stories of what he and Ollie did while I was gone. I missed him. And of course Ollie.
Apparently Ollie got Day into quite a bit of trouble.
Day and I walk into his house to go pick up Ollie. Ollie runs to the door as we walk in.
"Hey Baby." I say petting his head. I sit down and pull him into my lap. I love my dog.
"Let's go. I don't want to wake up my parents." Day says. I nod and get up.
I grab all of Ollie's things and pick Ollie up. We run out to the car again.
I manage to fall asleep on the five minute drive.
I wake up in my room. It's morning. I think, it's light out. So it's either morning or I slept in a lot.
I check the time on my phone. It's 11am. Not bad.
I text Day.
Thanks for taking me to my room last night-Me
That sounds awkward. Too bad, I'm dating him and he's just gonna have to deal with it.
No problem sweetheart. Did you sleep okay -Day
Well I just got up
Just woke up -Me
Okay. What are you doing today? -Day
Well I'm probably gonna swim in the pool. Wanna come? -Me
Be there in a few -Day
I put one of my newer swimsuits on and walk out onto the balcony and down the stairs. My parents are upstairs I think. Actually, I haven't thought about it.
