It was around seven thirty in the morning when a loud knock from Logan's front door made me stand up from the couch. I walked towards the door and unlocked it, revealing my older brother with his hand tucked in one of his pockets and a black paper bag in his other hand. "Hi! Why didn't you call the house phone?" I greeted him and opened the door wide enough for him to enter.

"I literally forgot that we have one of those" He chuckled and closed the door behind him. "Where's Jason?" He asked when he didn't find my boyfriend in the room. I walked back to the couch and turned off the TV before looking at my baby monitor to check if Leo is still asleep.

"Work" I replied shortly before tilting my head to look at the black paper bag. "What's that?" I asked him.

"Oh, yea. I bought you a new phone since you broke your old one" He said making my eyes widen.

"You didn't have to do that!" I exclaimed but he just rolled his eyes at me and took out a small white rectangular box from the paper bag. "Everyone's phone number is in there already so you can't say you can't have it" He said with his eyebrows raised at me and handed me the box.

"Have I ever told you that you are the best brother ever?" I grinned and looked at the box in my hand. It's an iPhone 4s and I can't believe that he spent his money just to buy me a phone!

"Yeah. Actually a lot of times already" He smirked making me scoff. I carefully opened the box and it revealed a white colored iPhone 4s. I lifted it carefully to inspect it before looking at Logan with a huge smile on my face.

"Thank you so much, Logan" I said, pulling him in a hug. "Don't throw that on the wall next time, okay?" He chuckled making me shake my head. I set the phone and the box down beside me before standing up.

"Do you want anything to eat?" I asked him, walking towards the fridge to prepare food for him but he just shook his head and looked at me. "I have to go, Lia" He said making me frown.

"You were in the office earlier, weren't you?" I asked him before turning my back to him to get myself a glass of water. "Mom and Dad are both out of town. They need someone to take care of the business" He said making me sigh.

"You should call them some time" Logan said after I finished a glass of water making me look at him. "They probably won't even answer" I sighed, moving to sit beside him with my legs tucked in front of me.

"You won't know unless you try" He said, giving me a reassuring smile. "Fine" I breathed out and looked at Logan who had a small smile on his face. Logan has been trying to make me talk to our parents ever since we moved here in Rosewood but I always go straight to their voicemail and after a few tries, I just completely gave up. Accepting the fact that they don't care about me or Leo anymore. Sure, they give me a monthly allowance but I still need them. I want to talk to them even for at least once a month, just for a minute but I clearly know now that they just can't give me a small portion of their time.

"I have to go. Call me if you need anything, okay?" He said, looking up after he looked at the message from his phone making me stand up. "Thank you, Logan" I said, pulling my brother in a tight hug. I smiled as I felt him leave a kiss on my forehead, just like what our father always does whenever we hug them.

"Thank you for everything, Logan"

After Logan left, I killed time by cleaning his huge apartment. I was loading the dishes in the dishwasher when Leo woke up. I played The Lion King on the TV before setting him down on his crib. "Hey, honey. Mommy is going to clean the house so behave, alright?" I said, squishing his cheeks slightly making him pout his small red lips.
