"Mamamamama"
Lianna's dream ended abruptly as she felt a small hand tapping her cheek softly. She slowly opened her eyes, her eyelashes faintly batting against her eyelids as she blinked. She rolled over to the side and smiled as she was greeted by a toothless smile from Leo that is patiently waiting for her to wake up.
"Good Morning, big guy" She whispered, her voice husky as she turned to face him. Her heart swelled as Leo's eyes sparkled as he gave her a sweet smile that filled her heart with so much happiness.
She sat up crossing her legs in front of him, her elbows supporting her weight as she leaned forward, careful not to crush Leo with her weight.
"You hungry?" She asked, lifting his head a bit carefully with her hands as she pressed kisses on her son's cheek who giggled as Lianna bumped her nose with his gently.
"Is my big guy hungry, huh?" She cooed, scrunching her nose as she gently pinched his chubby rosy cheeks. She smiled and sat up straight before putting her hair up in a high ponytail. "Let's go make some breakfast, my love" She said to Leo who had no idea what she just said but flashed her a smile making Lianna chuckle. She carefully picked her up, placing him on her hip as they walked out of the room.
"You stay here while mommy makes breakfast, okay?" Lianna said as she set down Leo on her crib who quickly turned to his toys. She turned on the TV and put on Lion King since Leo loves that movie.
She checked Leo's crib first, just in case there was anything in there that could harm him before turning to brush her teeth first once she didn't find any. After brushing her teeth, she took a banana and mushed it in a bowl with a fork, adding two eggs in it before mixing it all in.
The sweet scent of banana filled the air as she flipped the last pancake and waited for it to cook before placing it on her plate. "You want a pancake, baby?" She asked him as she placed the plate on the coffee table.
"Mama" He blabbed while clapping his hands making her heart swell. "Yes mama cooked some pancakes" She smiled and took a small piece, blowing it to make sure that it was not hot before placing it in Leo's mouth.
She watched him chew the pancake slowly as he watched the movie playing in front of him and once he opened his mouth after swallowing the first piece, Lianna knew that he liked it so she took another slice from her plate, making sure it was not hot before placing it in his mouth.
"You like it?" She asked him and it was as if he understood what she said when he scrunched his nose and clapped his hands adorably. She chuckled and took some syrup, drizzling it on top of her pancake before sitting beside Leo's crib to join him watch Lion King.
Her head snapped up as Leo started to giggle making her look at the T.V. "You like Simba, Leo?" She chuckled, feeding him another piece of the pancake as they watched Simba sing "I Just Can't-Wait to be King"
