Filler Chapter
~•~•~•~"Hey, babe"
My eyes snapped up from my phone as I heard Jason enter Logan's house. I give him a smile as I looked at him in his fitted blue long sleeves with black slacks. "You look dashing, my love"
He chuckled at my cheesy compliment making me smile wider. I didn't remove my gaze from him as he placed a paper bag and his bag down and walked towards me. I can't believe that this man is mine! He's just so...
Perfect.
I raised an eyebrow at him as he lifted both of my legs and sat on the couch before placing my legs on top of his thighs. "You alright?" I asked, watching him carefully as he rested his head back and closed his eyes.
"Yeah. Just tired" He answered shortly.
"Is this about the fashion show next week?" I asked, locking my phone to give him my full attention.
"Dad's been very busy and Mom needed help. I don't know if I can look at a sparkly dress one more time without poking my eye out." He answered with a frustrated sigh with his eyes still closed making me chuckle. I tucked my legs in front of me making him open one eye to look at me.
"Do you think we should go home today?" I asked, crawling towards him to hug him.
"We don't have to attend if you feel uncomfortable going home" Jason said, wrapping his arms around my shoulders as I wrapped my arms around his torso.
"No. It's alright. I need to face Rosewood again sooner or later" I mumbled as I buried my head against his chest, sighing in content as I inhaled his manly musky scent.
"By the way, Mom asked me to give you this" Jason said, unwrapping his arms around me to get the white paper bag from the floor. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
Why would Mrs. DiLaurentis give me something?
"What is it?" I asked in confusion as Jason walked back to the couch before handing me the paper bag.
"I have no idea" He said making me pout. I took the paper bag and slowly opened it with Jason watching me carefully open the bag. I removed the paper before a blue fabric caught my gaze. Is this a dress?
I took the soft fabric and inspected it. Yes, it was a dress.
"Why.... why would Mrs. DiLaurentis give me this?" I slowly said in shock as I looked at the blue halter dress with rhinestones in the waist part as its belt.
"Why? Don't you like it? I think it would look good on you" Jason asked, moving closer to me. I felt him wrap an arm around my waist and rested his chin on top of my shoulder. I shakily took a deep breath and lowered the dress to look at him over my shoulder.
"Jase.. this is Ali's dress"
Jason lifted his chin from my shoulder to look at me fully. I bit my lip and looked at him, his jaw clenching as he looked at the dress. I know what he's thinking. I know that he's tired of people trying to always bring up Alison's name at every chance that they get. He just wants his sister to rest in peace and that wouldn't happen until everyone stops talking about Ali's death.
"Hey, baby" I called, sitting up straight to face him.
"I know what you're thinking" I sighed, pressing both of my palms against his cheeks to make him look at me.
"Everyone griefs differently. Your mom misses Alison so much and she's doing this to relieve that longing, okay?" I slightly pressed his cheeks together making him pout. "And besides, doesn't Ali love the attention?"
