It was dark when Spencer kidnapped us from our houses and now Aria, Hanna, and I sat in her car while waiting for Emily in front of their old house. "So, it was just the two of you, sitting in Garrett's car?" Hanna asked Spencer as we both sat at the back while Aria sat in front.

"I didn't know where else to meet him." Spencer said with her head facing Hanna and I, "Yeah, Han, it wasn't like she could ask him about those down at the precinct." I said, earning a nod from Spencer.

"Exactly." She said, "How did you get away from him?" Aria asked.

"When you sent me that text, I told him it was from my mom. She wanted me home asap." Spencer said before raising her hand to inspect it. "Am I still shaking? I'm still shaking."

"Yeah, we're all shaking." Hanna said, wiping the sweat from her neck using the tissue I handed to her. "Can you turn on the heat? You could make Lia and I a slushy back here."

"Guys, why would Jenna give him that lantern?" Aria asked, about the lantern that Jenna made while they were both at the art class.

"You don't know that she gave it to him." Hanna said, "What do you think, he bought it at the blind artists' crafts fair?" Spencer asked sarcastically as if saying "Duh."

"Of course, she gave it to him."

"You know what the more important question is why did Jenna give that lantern to Garrett? Are they like what best friends now?" I asked causing Hanna to roll her eyes. "Li, they grew up across the street from each other. His parents still live in that house. Maybe he's just bringing raw meat to Jenna's cat." Hanna said as if it was a very obvious answer.

"Toby lives there, too, and they don't have a cat." Spencer replied as Aria and I looked at Hanna with squinted eyes to prove my point.

"Then maybe he was bringing over raw meat for Jenna." Hanna fired back, trying to make her argument valid. I sighed and leaned back on the chair, "Here comes Em." Aria said nodding her head towards Emily's direction.

"Who's living in her house now?" Spencer asked as we looked out the window to see Emily walking towards the car. "Some losers who can't figure out the alarm system." Hanna replied.

"They've tripped it like three times. The security company keeps calling her mom in Texas." She added.

"Everything okay?" Spencer asked as Hanna and I scooted over to give Emily a space to sit in. "Yeah, it's fine." Emily nodded.

"It's just so weird to walk in there and see other people's stuff." She said, "Hey, why don't you tell 'em to lay off the alarm for a couple of days?" Hanna said to Emily.

"I'm guessing they don't feel safe."

"Well, they will now. I'm sure Aria's parents are gonna have Mike on lockdown till he turns 18."

"You did not just say that, Hanna."

"Woah, Han. That's a bit rude." I said, warning Hanna that she was a bit crossing a line, "What? I'm not judging." Hanna defended.

"I'm just guessing that your little brother will find another hobby besides breaking." Hanna added making Spencer look at her from the driver's seat, "Still talking." Spencer warned, eyeing the clueless girl that still tried to talk but Lianna just pinched her arm.

"Ow! Lianna, what the hell that hurts." Hanna scowled, rubbing the part where I just pinched her making me roll my eye, "Drama queen." I muttered.

"Guys, look, I don't know what's going on with my brother. If I knew, you would know." Aria sighed.
