Season 2, Episode 7
~•~•~•~"I thought you were getting your own room." Aria asked as we all stood in Hanna's kitchen the morning after the disastrous evening. Jason was sweet enough to drive me home and cook a nice dinner for us before he left to tend to his mother.
"That was before the pipes went off behind the walls." Emily answered for Hanna who gave her a cup of coffee. "Can I have one too? Leo kept me up all night, his gums must've been hurting." I asked Hanna as I pulled my hair up in a ponytail.
"Yeah, sure." She nodded, grabbed another cup and poured black coffee into it. "They had to fix the pipes and put the wall back in. So we're roomies till then." Hanna answered.
"It'll be fun." Emily smiled at Hanna's cheerfulness. "I know, it's gonna be like a sleepover that never ends." Hanna cheered making me chuckle.
"To warn you, Em, she may make the best coffee in the entire world but she is a sleep talker." I said, warning the poor girl that would be Hanna's next victim. "What? I don't sleep talk." She said, defending herself as she passed me a cup of coffee as well.
"Thanks."
"Has Garrett called you about Ian's messenger?" Spencer asked Emily slowly as she sat on Hanna's table top. "Not a sound." Emily answered shaking her head.
"Guys, we dragged Garrett into this. We just gotta trust him." Aria said to us making me nod before taking a sip on my coffee. "We're trusting him with Ian's $10,000, and I could've used some of that to replace Melissa's ring." Spencer said sunkenly.
"And if they traced the money from Ian to you? How would you explain that?" Hanna asked with her arms crossed in front of her. "I just don't like waiting." Spencer fired back.
"That's the least that we could do, Spence. We can't afford to be separated again if we apparently become too "obsessed" with this." I said, placing the coffee mug down beside Spencer's and crossed my arms in front of my chest. "If we're too quiet, A will get bored and stir the pot." Spencer said to me.
"And if we say something, A is gonna smack us down." Hanna replied. "I don't wanna walk into another "A-stravaganza" like that fashion show."
"God, the look on Mrs. DiLaurentis's face." Emily commented making me sigh, "She looked hurt and disappointed and mortified and I just—." I replied, shaking my head as a chill ran down my spine.
A sound from Hanna's doorbell made us all stop and watched as Hanna went out to answer it "This... isn't just about making us look like bitches anymore, is it?" Aria asked, grabbing the coffee pot to pour some more of the coffee. I took my mug and stretched out my hand to ask for more as well.
"No. It's about keeping us quiet." Spencer sighed, crossing her arms in front of her. "Why?" Aria asked
"Because A might be the one who killed Ali." Emily replied, "That's what we're all thinking, isn't it?"
"Why else go through all the trouble of setting up Ian?" Spencer asked with his usual scary face whenever she is in deep thoughts. "Thanks, Aria." I said with a smile once Aria finished pouring coffee into my cup.
"Why are we even worrying about things like this? I mean shouldn't we just worry about chemistry or biology or something like that?" I sighed, bringing my cup right in front of my nose to smell the delicious smell of Hanna's roasted coffee.
"That's so true." Emily sighed.
"You guys." Hanna called from behind us making us all look back. She was carrying this brown basket that was filled with different sorts of chocolates and two stuffed toys, a lamb and a pig.
"Look at the card." She added.
We all watched as Emily took the white card from the basket. "What fun, two little liars under one roof. You're making it so easy. - A"
"Damn, that kind of letter again?" I sighed, running my fingers through my hair. "It's not even good candy." Hanna complained as she looked at the candy bar that was in the basket before throwing it in their trash can.
Knowing for sure, this isn't going to be good for Emily and Hanna.

"Hey."
I looked up from my Biology notebook to see Jason entering the room with his bag slung on his right shoulder. I placed down my pen and removed my glasses before facing him with a tired smile, "Hey."
"Why are you still up so late?" He asked as he walked behind me and wrapped his arms around my shoulder. "Homework." I sighed, rubbing my eye as Jason pressed a kiss on my temple.
"Leo was being fussy again?" He mumbled against my shoulder and I nodded. "Yeah, I think his teeth are growing since he likes biting me a lot." I said, leaning against his shoulder as he pressed kisses on my covered shoulder.
"Mrs. Montgomery asked me if I wanted to attend dinner with them tomorrow evening." He said suddenly after a minute of silence making me look at him. "Aria's mom?" I asked.
He nodded before standing up straight to sit on the bed, "She sent Mom a nice letter after the fashion show and I think she just wanted to make it up to us after what happened then."
I stood up from the swivel chair and walked towards him making him look up at me. "I mean, if you're not comfortable with that, I can just say no." Jason said almost quickly making me chuckle. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed my lips against his, "No, it's okay Jase."
"Lia.." He said, frowning before wrapping his arms around my waist, "I just realized that you're right. I have nothing to worry about." I said, playing with the hair at the back of his neck.
A smile formed on his lips before pulling me on his lap, "I'm yours, Li. I would never do what Noel did to you and you know that." He said, bringing his hand up to cup my face.
"Yeah, I know." I smiled before pressing my lips against his. The faint beep from my phone pulled us back to reality. I pulled myself away from Jason and took my phone that was resting beside my book and opened the message.
