"I know, baby. I wish I didn't have to go either, but this opportunity won't happen again..." He murmured with glassy eyes as he smoothed back her hair, while she tightly held on to him, as if it was the last that she'll ever see him. "I understand.." His chuckle soothed her pain as she forced smile up at him. "Promise me, you won't forget me.." She muttered, half-joking and half-sincere.
"Silly, that's what I should say! You're the best thing that ever happened to me, how could I forget you?" With that said, he reluctantly dropped her hand and walked towards the flight gate, his back gave no evidence of his unwillingness, but his eyes were a waterfall with each step he took.
'Please, don't let him forget me...' She prayed, her hands tightly grasped the railing, hating it for separating her and her lover. Her heart ached physically as his retreating figure dissolved into the sea of people, he was gone.

"Hey, why are you still up?" She nagged playfully as he grinned heartily and winked, despite the fact that he was more than 3,000 miles away, they fought to make it work. I guess it's true when they say distance makes the heart grow fonder. "I wanted to see your lovely face before I went to class ~." He cooed tenderly as she rolled her eyes but smiled nonetheless.
"I wanted to see you too, honey." She murmured as she gifted him with an air kiss, hoping that he would come back soon so he could wash away the feelings of longing and loneliness inside her. He chuckled and blew her an air kiss before he logged off to get to class.
'Calm down, he'll be back soon and everything will be okay again,' She thought as she drifted off into a restless slumber.

"Sweetheart, wake up!" His voice sounded out adoringly as his hand delicately glided along her face. Her soft groan indicated that she was waking up as he grinned in victory. "I hate you, babe." She muttered playfully she interlaced their fingers, the very action earned her a sweet kiss.
However, just when things seemed perfect, they were standing at the balcony and holding each other when suddenly the ground collapsed. "Ahh!!" They screamed in unison as she gripped one of the bars while he desperately held onto her hand.
"Do not let go." She weakly ordered with glassy eyes as he nodded, but deep down he knew she didn't believe him. He'd rather pay the price with his life and let her live, for he loosened his grip on her hand while she fought to hold him. "Hang on!" She screamed, but it was futile as his body retreated into the abyss of oblivion.

"Babe!!!" She screamed as she wept while clutching the covers to her chest. The nightmare had occur too many times for her to be in peace. 'Breathe, just breathe. Open your eyes, it was only just a dream.' Her inner self chanted peacefully, soon her body complied and she relaxed. "I miss you..." She whimpered while stepping out to the kitchen, to get some water.
His face was smiling back at her as she picked up a random mug out of the cupboard, his smile was so contagious that it brought a smile to her lips. Her hands shook as she tried to get some water from the dispenser. "Come on, get back to sleep. You have work tomorrow." She reminded herself whilst trudging back to their shared bedroom.
The unforgiving alarm clock blared during what only felt like 5 minutes, she rolled out of bed irritatedly and scrambled to get herself ready for work. "Ugh!" Her co-workers were sympathetic towards her, knowing how close she was with her boyfriend when he was around and now, he's all the way on the other side of the world.
