Rebecca's POV

To say the teacher was surprised is an understatement. She just quit talking and had her mouth hanging open. The teacher then looked at another student and asked him to escort me to headmaster's office then come straight back.

In the headmaster's office I didn't have to wait very long before he was able to see me.

Mr. Bubblé's POV

As I'm going over some paperwork for the private, government funded, schools meeting scheduled with our Agency contact and the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women for the next week, my secretary comes in to inform me that Rebecca Petrovich is here to see me. I just saw Ms.Petrovich yesterday, what trouble has she found herself in already, I wonder? She seems like a really smart girl that cares about how others think about her. With that thought in mind, I ask my secretary to get Dr.Holst and to send in Ms.Petrovich.

As she walks in, I can tell that she isn't here because she is in trouble, she doesn't have that type of look on her face.

"What can I do for you today Ms.Petrovich?", I ask.

"I need a harder class."

"Straight to the point I see. What makes you think that you need a harder class?"

"I already know everything that the teacher was teaching today. I had been working on harder math with my private tutor back in Appilacia. Is there some sort of test that I can take to prove that I know it and can get moved up a class?"

As she is saying this, Dr.Holst walks in. After Ms.Petrovich is done saying speaking, Dr.Holst tells her that there are placement tests that she can take to show us where she is with her learning.

"When can I take them?", asks Ms.Petrovich.

Dr.Holst replies, "I can supervise you taking them today if you would like? It would take the whole day and you would not get to go to any of your other classes today."

"That is fine. I think that it would be better if I took the tests today so that we avoid the possibility of having to have another conversation like this about my other classes."

"Okay we will have you do that today. Now if you will excuse me, I have some paperwork that needs to get done for an important meeting next week."

With that they both leave and I get back to working on my report.

I need to figure out if I'm going to include a mention of Ms.Petrovich in my report. If I mention that she is at my school, are they going to try to send her back home, to Gallagher, or let her stay here? Do I want her to stay here? If she is as smart as I think she is, she will be good competition for the boys. They won't want to let a girl beat them at something and it will teach them that girls are capible and not to underestimate them.

That settles it. I will put her in my report and use that line of reasoning to make sure they let her stay with us.
