Kidnap and rescue

Black Manta brought in Simon to try repair Kaldur's mind. I looked at Simon and glanced at Artemis. Acualad's dad left after letting us keep watch over Simon and Aqualad. 

"Great, now we have to get rid of Simon, and then save Megan.." I mentally sighed and saw Artemis grab something from her small pocket. I couldn't see it, but I saw something fly and hit Simon in the neck.

"Something.. is wrong." the chair he was using fell backwards and he turned to the 2 of us. "My mind.. clouding over.." then I felt some telekinetic waves hit me and pushed me and Artemis towards the wall.

"Ow.." I rubbed my head in annoyance from hitting a metal wall.

"You!" He then levitated both me and Artemis and threw us each to an opposite wall. He then repeatedly slammed Artemis against the wall, and me on the ceiling and ground. I then glanced at him and his eyes changed.

"He knows.." I glared at him and used my mind ability and made Artemis's poison work faster then he collapsed.

"What happened?" I looked up and saw it was Black manta.

"We're not sure." I said standing up holding my head.

"He just.. went berserk." Artemis said as she stood up.

"Is it possible Miss Martian left some kind of telepathic virus in Kaldur's mind?" she asked and I looked at black manta with a curious and concerned expression.

"If she did, then any telepath we employ will only suffer the same fate." He looked at Simon.

"There is still one telepath who could help us." I said walking up to black manta, walking around Simon.

"Miss Martian herself." Artemis finished for me.

"It's our only course. Send us to the mainland. We'll bring her and force her to cure Kaldur." I said to him.

"Yes, yes of course. But, I need one of you to stay with my son." he said.

"I'll stay, Tigress goes." I said and Artemis looked at me and we both nodded in agreement.

"But, she is dangerous. Kaldur would never forgive me if I sent you alone.." he said turning to Artemis.

"I'll take a squad of troopers." she said to him.

"No, you'll take death stroke." he said and I noticed death stroke at the door.

"perfect." I heard her say.

"Just.. perfect.." I thought to myself.

"I'll stay here." I said and sat on the knocked over chair. Black manta looked at me and nodded in acknowledgement.

I leaned against the wall, and closed my eyes. In my mind, I saw my 2 phoenix's, Levina and Agni. "You have been in such big trouble." Agni said shaking his head.

"I have a question." I said to them.

"What is it?" Levine asked.

"Can you guys bring me back to life if I died?" I asked.

"Why the sudden question?" they both asked.

"It's.. I have a bad feeling, thats all." I said and crossed my arms.

"We both can. Though one of us makes you come back to life with all the powers you currently possess. The other, does the same, but your powers will either be different or completely gone."  Agni said.

"Well, which is which?" I asked.

"Agni can bring you back to life, but your powers will be completely different or gone. It's a 50/50 chance. I can do the other." Levina said.

I opened my eyes and Megan, and Artemis were back. "Boss left?" I asked looking up at Artemis.

"Yeah." Artemis nodded. I then yawned as they both went into Kaldur's mind. I got up and stretched my legs. 

"Hope Dick isn't getting any trouble from doing this." I thought sitting on a comfy chair.

"How are things?" I turned to see manta.

"I think they are doing well." I said and looked at them.

"It might take days." Megan said.

"You are making progress, keep making it and you may still live." he said and left.

"Tigress, let's talk. Stay here and watch her." he said to me after Tigress left the room and I nodded.

~timeskip~

It has been a couple days, and I really wished I could be with Dick. Seriously, I missed Halloween! I yawned and rubbed my eyes. "Tigress, I'm getting some food." I said and left Aqualad's room.

"Don't be long." she said to me and I nodded.

When I came back, nothing had changed.

"We have to find a way to get you out of here." I said in the mind link.

"I agree." Aqualad said.

Tigress gave Aqualad some water. "We need a way that none of us can get caught or we all die." I thought and crossed my arms.

"I really wonder how the team is." I thought after a while.

"I wonder the same." Aqualad said.

"I have a very bad feeling.. I wish I could know." I thought and sighed.

"You were always right about your 'bad feelings'." Artemis said with mental air quotes.

I suddenly heard blasts. I turned and the door opened and in came Cheshire and Sports Master. "Damn it Artemis." I thought and pushed Megan behind me. I brought out a sword and held it out against her.

"You're making a mistake Cheshire." I said and ducked her kick and swept my feet and she lost her balance but quickly regained it.

I ducked a punch and went to cut her with my blade, but she dodged, and grabbed my arm, twisting it. I then felt something metal on my skin and I tensed as Electricity flowed through my body. I pretended to get knocked out since no normal person could withstand that much electricity.

I then heard the sound of the camera being hit. I opened my eyes and saw Aqualad being held at sword point by Cheshire.

I walked up behind her and quickly there her away from him. "This is ridiculous." I muttered and kicked her sword out of her hand. The sword then blew up behind me and I was thrown against the wall.

"Enough." I heard in my head. I opened my eyes again, and I was in another room.

"Not mine." I muttered.

"I'll take my leave." I said and closed my eyes and used my own powers letting myself out of the physic vision.

"Cheshire, do you think that you can get Miss Martian out of here?" I asked mentally.

"Play it out, both of you." I said hurriedly.

"Alright." They both said and Aqualad agreed as well. Me and manta were both thrown against the wall. I 'struggled' against it. After Megan tried to kill us, and Aqualad tackled her and she phased through the floor, I dropped off the wall.

"have fun getting out of here." I thought and ran out. "I'll go after them." I said running out the door. By the time I arrived, they were all gone and death stroke and Artemis were against the wall.
