Death

The next morning, I woke up. I looked to my left and saw a shirtless Nightwing. "So, how do you feel?" He asked me and ghosted his hands over my legs.

"Sore." I smiled and he hugged me closer.

"That must mean that I did a good job." He smiled and I laughed a little and kissed him softly.

"We should get out of bed soon." I said and he nodded and wrapped his arms tightly around my waist.

"Or we could just stay here and cuddle for about an hour.." He said burying his face in my neck.

"That's a good idea." I smiled.

Dick pulled me into his chest, one hand on my waist and the other on the back of my neck. I felt his chin on my head and he gave me soft butterfly kisses. "I love you." He whispered to me and I smiled.

"I love you." I answered back and he hugged me tighter.

The hour went by quickly. I got up and out of bed and went to the shower. I washed my hair, my body, etc etc. I then wrapped myself in a towel, and let my hair down over my back. I blow dried my hair and then went to find some clothes to change into. I put on my underwear, some shorts, and pulled one of Dick's button up shirts over my head. "You look adorable." Dick said laughing.

"Your shirts are huge, and very comfortable." I said as his shirt went past my waist and his sleeves were a little past my fingertips.

"Well, sorry to disappoint, but somethings happened." he said.

"... Understood." I said and changed into uniform.

The 2 of us went to the watch tower. "What do we have to lose?" I shrugged as Luthor told us he had a solution.

"Nothing much." Nightwing said.

"We should hurry." I said and the others nodded.

"Every single magnetic field disruptor must be disabled, before they Chrysalis, to guarantee earth's safety. Each MFD is protected by multiple beetle tech drones, and each drone is an equivalent to a beetle warrior. Blue beetle has located 20 MFD's around the world. There are 40 of us assembled here, so you'll be in squads of 2." Atom said to us.

"You'll all be issued multiple reach tech eggs containing my anti reach virus software, while one hero runs interference with the drone, the other has to only physically touch his or her egg against the drone to disable it." Luther said.

"Guess I'm with you?" I looked at Nightwing.

"Let's go." He smiled at me.

When we finished, I went to the watchtower. "We missed one. The earth's magnetic field is still being disrupted." I looked at the image of the world.

"Blue beetle to watch tower, Im' reading a 21st MFD. In the arctic, hidden by the north magnetic pole.

"Don't worry I've got this." I heard Flash. Then Impulse joined him.

"Flash to watchtower, It's already gone chrysalis. I'm not sure if the egg-" Flash.

"The egg is useless now, you're too late." Luthor said.

"Run, you and Impulse together should be able to negate the energy flow by running counter to its rotation." Luther said.

"Is it really that simple?" Flash asked.

"I wouldn't call it simple. It'll take a massive amount of kinetic energy."

I glanced to my left and saw Wally was about to run. I quickly grabbed his arms and was pulled along with him.

"Recognized, Kid Flash B03, (Y/n) B07."

"What are you doing?" Wally asked as I let go and ran next to him.

"I may not be a speedster, but I have my own share of speed." I said and gathered electricity at my feet. "What you think?"

I ran with the 3 and Lightning started to hit Wally. I then spread some electricity over my whole body. I ran by Wally, and some of the lightning hit me. "You don't have to do this for me." Wally said.

"Now, what kind of friend would that make me?" I asked.

"That will leave us both with the same fate." He said and I smiled and a red flame surrounded my right hand.

"Not... not necessarily.." I smiled and touched his shoulder. A red bird was then marked onto his skin.

"W-what?" I smiled at him and I saw as he was becoming less transparent.

"Tell Dick I'm sorry." I smiled before I faded away.

I opened my eyes and I was in a familiar place. I was surrounded by nature. I looked to my left and it was Agni. A woman was next to him, petting him. "You..." I looked at her.

"I see you remember me." She smiled at me.

"Yes... when I fought Trigon all those years ago... you helped me." I said to her.

"Yes, now... I think you should be going home." She said and Agni sat on my shoulder.

"Agni?" I looked at him.

"I'll bring you back to life, though I don't know what will happen with your powers." He said and I nodded, understanding.

I opened my eyes and gasped for air. I sat up and looked around. "(Y/n)?" I turned and saw it was Dick.

I smiled and he ran to me and hugged me. "Thank god...." he mumbled and kissed me. "Stop scaring me like this.." he whispered before kissing me again.

"Sorry." I smiled.

"It's okay... you're here now." He smiled.

I nodded and looked at my hands. I tried to see if I had any powers. I raised my hands up a little and things started to levitate.

"Oh boy, telekinesis.." I muttered.

"You got a new power?" Dick looked at me.

"I'll explain later." I said to him smiling.

After getting used to being back, it was time to prepare for the wedding.
