Robin x Reader (Book 2)

New years kiss

"At least we know none of us is the mole." I heard Kid say from the hall.

They had just come back from a mission the day before and I was excluded. I looked down and Batman pat my shoulder. "That's correct." he said to the team.

"The mole.." Batman started and pulled up an image.

"Was Red arrow." I said finishing his sentence.

"Roy?" Robin asked.

"No way." Kid said.

"Batman that cannot be." Aqua lad said to him. "He was green arrows protege. We have known him for years." Aqua lad reasoned.

"Unfortunately, the Roy Harper we have known for the past 3 years, is another project cadmus clone."Red tornado said.

"The real speedy and roy were replaced, immediately after becoming green arrows side kick. The clone was pre programmed with a drive to join the justice league."

"He had no idea he was a clone, or a traitor." I said and looked at batman.

"When he was finally admitted, his secondary programming kicked in." Batman said. I walked towards Robin and he pat my head. "He attempted to betray the league to vandal savage. Fortunately, I had already deduced Red Arrow was a clone. We were prepared." Batman said.

"Savage was subdues, but red arrow escaped. He is now a fugitive. Armed and dangerous." Red tornado told us.

"How did you know?" Robin asked me.

"I... Green Arrow called me. He wanted me to assist in Roy's capture, I declined. I was doing business in gotham, so I went to find batman to find out why Roy was being chased and he told me all this." I said and looked down.

"What happened to the real Roy?" Robin asked rubbing my back.

"Don't know. We have to face the possibility that the real Roy harper is dead." Batman said.

I wrapped my own arms around Robin and I heard him in my head. "Thanks." he said.

"No problem." I responded.

"The clone roy, the team will find him" Aqua lad said.

"Negative. Red arrow is a member of the justice league now. Leave him to us." batman ordered. "I'm needed on the watch tower. Tornado, stay with the kids." Bats said as he left. I stood next to Robin and looked at Aqua lad.

"Call or no call, red arrow is one of us. We'll go after him." Aqua lad said.

"Tornado?" I asked when he suddenly powered off.

"What happened to him?" Megan asked.

"He's totally offline." Robin said looking at his scanners.

"Guys, I'm sensing a low level mystique force at play." I glanced back at Zatanna. "Actually, I got the same buzz off of batman." she added

"Come to think of it, batman called us kids, he never does that." Robin added.

Aqua lad then gave us each individual tasks. I was with Robin as they were downloading Red's memories into a new body. Black canary suddenly came in. Red Arrow suddenly popped u telling us to run, and canary attacked us. Robin pulled me down behind the table. "Stay here." he said to me and ran out.

"Don't tell me what to do." I growled and we managed to subdue Canary.

"red, what now?" I asked him.

"You must abandon the cave." he said.

We all got on sphere, and sphere was now following Super boy's presence. I closed my eyes and tried to establish a link with the others. "They're too far. I can't reach them." I said. 

"The entire league is under savage's control." Tornado said to us. I clenched my fists and we finally got on the bio ship. I stayed in the back of the ship and quickly opened the scroll. "I know, I am not ready. But I want to help the others. I want to repay them for everything they've done for me. Help me free them from their mind control.. please.." I whispered.

"You are too caring." he said and and smiled. "You are ready." he said and he shrunk himself and a tattoo of a phoenix appeared on my wrist. I met up with the others and they gave the cures. "Just put this on the infected league members and they will be cured. It will be slower than the alien bug though." I helped Robin and the others with saving the league members.

I arrived later than the others since I wanted to make sure no one was hurt too badly, and when I met up with the others, I saw an icon and it said, January 1, 00:00 EST. What I saw next, I wasn't sure how to react. I was smiling a bit seeing Artemis and Kid kissing, then I saw M'gann kissing Conner, then I froze seeing the next one, I saw Zatanna kissing Robin. I could see that he wasn't resisting. I frowned and stepped back into the shadows.

"Congrats, all of you." I said through the mind link. I looked back once more and I flew out into space. I looked at the space station and turned away and flew back down to earth.

~Robin's pov~

I was suddenly pulled into a kiss and I opened my eyes a bit, and saw a familiar shade of (Y/n) hair and her sweet perfume. I gladly kissed her back. "Congrats, all of you." I suddenly heard (Y/n)'s voice in my head. I quickly pulled back from who I thought was (Y/n) and saw it was really Zatanna.

"(Y/n)?" I called out. "(Y/n)!" I said and ran down the hallway where she must have seen us.

I sighed knowing that she left. I turned back to Zatanna, "Why did you do that?" I asked her.

"Do what?" She asked me.

"You know what!" I said. "You used your magic and made me think you were (Y/n)!" I yelled at her.

"I-I... I just wanted you to look at me like you look at her!" she said.

I scoffed and turned away from her and went to go find batman. He might be the only one who knows more about my own girlfriend than I do.
