Whispering in the wind the story begins.A leaf falls from a tree mesmerizing me.
With autumn chill in the air, beauty and death could be found everywhere.
Carved pumpkins and costumes upon people lined the streets.
Children knock on stranger’s doors for treats.
In cemeteries at midnight, lightning bugs fill the sky.
Now ghost stories and scary movies seem to thrive.
On this night, the monsters come out from hiding.
And in nightmares wake up children and to their parents they run crying.
Candles dance around witch’s room, and where wolves howl at the cloud covered moon.
Goblins and ghouls upon this night they seem to rule.
A banshee call fills lost ears and souls can be stolen from your mirrors.
On this night blood and gore is something Halloween has in store.
Fairies and Pixies if seen you think your eyes are playing schemes, adding suspense to the mix.
Murders and bandits run free down your roads killing and steeling things.
Boogie mans under your bed, and demons come out to play with your head.
Vampires hunting in the crowd, the feeling of this night seems so loud.
Zombies raze from the grave
And mummies put curses on people, no longer can be saved. In your house it’s just another night, if you hear something you may find something you don’t like.
Clowns with frowns strike fear in in towns.
And if traveling dark roads alone, you may not make it home.
Black cats appear to bring bad luck.
If superstition isn’t real you’re in luck.
Gnomes come to life to ruin gardens outside your homes.
The moth lady waits outside an unhappy house, waiting for a child to carry away like an owl to a mouse.
Turning out your lights and climbing in your beds, hope your doors are locked, it’s the night of the undead.
