She Hoped

Dreams were fading fast,

But her sympathy for others would disappear last.

The only thing she could never lose is the belief that even demons were overly abused.

Her heart was the strongest part of her, and oh did it love to sin.

The more she hurt the more she welcomed them in.

Alone listening to blues.

All she was, was a weapon to use.

The darkness was the only thing that held her tight.

When at night she broke down and cried.

She was truly alone

And not a person nor place could make her feel at home.

She held tight to her dreams and never lost sight.

She held on to their ghosts and fought her fights.

She had hopes to bring them back to life.
