The Angel that Cared too Much

There was an angel that cared too much

When she tried to help she seemed to destroy anything she was to touch

She thought it better to be alone

Her sympathy for others kept her from home

At the gates her halo she did return

For the pained homosapians she would burn.

To be happy while they were not, was the trap in which she got caught

She loved everything with such deep passion

And she held her head high while tears threatened to fill her eyes as the ones she loved passes her by

They never understood, they never caught a glimpse at what was under her hood

She suffered for the greater and felt so depressed when her beloved company left, and began to hate her

She always stood for something but never spoke out of turn

She always looked at those around her as if there was something new to learn

And what she'd find

That they tried so hard to hide

Only made her care more

But before her stories could reach a decent end.

They'd run out the door and her next adventure would begin

She wasn't the most righteous and definitely not the best

But she loved everyone with the strongest muscle ...only found in ones chest

She could never be happy is what she realized

Because the best for others is the only direction she could strive

She was never brave and she was never strong
But to everyone one else the caring angel seemed to belong

She'd fight with courage and hide her coward

Because even though she knew she'd lose

Not doing anything wasn't an option for this angel to use

She'd go to any lengths for another to be spared

But deep within she was the one most scared

She never fit in and she knew she never would

But she didn't really believe she should

Always losing the battles and being thrown aside

She risked her soul to cure the divide

Others may not see her so well

And others may not care to tell

But even for them she'd crawl threw hell

She'd suffer and she knew it so

And with one word..perhaps to heaven she'd go

But the love for her people she came to know and happiness with out them was something she'd never will so

So she takes her licks and she cries in clouds

Trying her best

But her struggles she tried not to speak aloud

Her struggles couldn't be pushed upon others

She never wanted to be a burden

But help she barely was even though she tried to
help because all her love

She carried these weights every day

And she may choose to spend eternity this way
