PRAYING
"A drop in the ocean, a change in the weather, I was praying that you and me might end up together."
A drop in the ocean,
A change in the weather,
I was praying that you and me
Might end up together.
Though I continuously tried,
You always left me with a sigh.
I thought I gave you my all,
what have I done wrong?
The words of passion pouring from my jaw,
the tone to my voice, is it not like a love song?
I promise to love your kits as if they were my own,
why can't you condone?
I know I'd give you all my love,
after all, we are accepted from above.
You've left me broken hearted, dear one,
you don't even love me, none?
The tom that you so dearly fancy,
Why is it him, I'm becoming antsy.
I have now accepted it, he makes you happy.
It pains me that it is not something I can give,
but I know I can live.
He better treat you right,
or he shall expect a great fight.
Your smile is the only medicine I need,
but this forbidden love you have built will fall apart,
this advice I beg of you to heed.
