| Embers In The Dark |

EMBERS IN THE DARK

When all light has faded,

when you've lost all hope,

when the footprints of pushing on seem dated,

when you can no longer cope,

a light will break the shadows,

it'll shine brightly through,

giving a spark of courage to you.

It'll break the night,

like embers in the dark,

you'll push through with all your might.

Brighter than stars, brighter than heart,

this fire will rage on.

This wild current of heat will appear small at first,

but then you'll be proven wrong,

it'll devour your problems with a thirst.

It has many paths to take,

many choices to make.

This compassionate light,

it burns very bright.

It cannot be stopped.

For it has been molded into a hero,

and at the end of the day, it shines as a star,

and in it's mirror?

The strength and courage of a lion.
