FADED WHISPERS
Do you hear that in the distance?
You musn't miss it.
Like a ghost stuck in life, the agony screams out,
Whilst it's owner still stumbles about.
This cat, like no other,
Has lost everything.
He has lost his mother,
He has lost his father.
He has lost his sister,
Right down to his first family.
Now he has another,
but their long lost presence still lingers here,
Still, the broken hearted feelings stay at a hover.
Memories which were bittersweet,
Glimpses in which he still has to meet.
The ground gave in beneath him,
Where he was once strong,
The faith he once had has crumbled.
The faded echoes,
Every word they ever said,
Lost as faded whispers.
