THE STORY
"Maybe It's Not About The Happy Ending; Maybe It's About The Story."
I see him looking so powerful,
yet I'm laying here so cowerful.
I'm so very shattered,
you were all that ever mattered.
Now that you're gone,
I'm beginning to long.
That warmth is no longer there,
I wonder, do you ever care?
I may be at your side as second in command,
but I'm not at your side at all, I don't even feel close,
Just forgiveness is all I demand.
My faults were merely good intentions,
do I even have to mention?
Why won't you take me back,
why has our once strong love come to a lack?
Please, I'm begging you!
Don't you have a clue?
Brambleclaw, I'm still in love with you!
Despite my desperate screams and cries, I don't feel heard,
Am I only but a disturb?
This tale has come to an end, no joy,
but maybe it's not about the happy ending,
maybe it's about the story.
