| Breathe |

BREATHE

I find myself caught in the moment,

That one special moment everyone dreams about,

I find myself wanting to be confident,

My heart about to shout.

Something I've never felt before,

Something so surreal,

Perhaps compared to waves crashing upon the shore.

I tell him to close his eyes,

Everything will be easier,

Everything will be alright.

Never before have I connected with someone like this,

This action bringing such a feeling of bliss.

Haven't you guessed?

This is my first kiss.

This brief moment feels like forever,

Yet when it's over, it wasn't enough time.

This relationship, I never want to sever.

The sparks surge, bringing me back to life,

For a minute, a simple, care-free moment, I forget to breathe.
