| And So It Begins |

AND SO IT BEGINS

How does one simply look at war?

It's a journey taken through the most looming door.

Anyone whose ever seen the movies and nothing but,

Could tell you it's not that bad.

 Fill you with false hope and lies that will later cut.

Life is full of choices, and every one counts,

All the way to the bottom of the list, all the way down.

However, no one will every tell you,

That there is such a thing as beauty exisiting in the act,

In every single swing of the sword or shot from the gun you ensue.

There's nothing like hearing the word victory shouted against the tense air,

Knowing that you won, and that you were still there.

The mere satisfaction of seeing your enemies fall,

Whilst you fight to the death because of a family at home,

You count as many right from the beginning of the battle call.

Whether you be in calvary or on foot, you do not stand alone,

You know that if you collapse today, you fought well,

But you died with honorable people who fought at your side.

What else is there to tell?

Even if the odds weren't in my favor,

Even if I was fighting in the midst of Snow and Storm,

A Rose in my hand to savor,

The Darkness and the Night overhead providing my enemies with scorn,

Gray birds and Bluejays at my side,

Even if I had a Unicorn to ride, and an Owl as my guide,

Nothing could stop me, not even a Dragon nor Tiger nor Lion, nor even Bear could turn the tide.

For all these elements are my protecters,

And so it begins, the battle, but we stand Infinitely together.

So! This poem was for all my followers, of whom I also call my Warriors. I couldn't fit everyone in, of course, but the certain bolded words relate to some of the people I've know throughout my time here on Wattpad, that I'd be most honored to stand beside and fight for one day. I love you guys.
