Sometimes I begin to miss you saying my name,

that sweet smell I long for,

even an essence in the pouring rain.

I see you here, I see you there,

I have to be reminded that you're really gone,

I have to be strong, pretend I don't care.

No one said it was easy,

it's such a shame for us to part,

no one said it was easy,

no one ever said it would be this hard,

oh, just take me back to the start.

That day we met,

the day I saw your for the first time,

through all the memories I kept,

that one of all still haunts my mind.

Then I think of all the more memories we could have had,

I wanted you at my side,

but then you made it turned into a bittersweet sad,

you walked out of my life.

The beautiful things we made together grew up with you,

meanwhile, you have no idea the things I have and will go through.

I'm going to break, I'm going to shatter,

no, it shouldn't matter.

I've been too strong for way too long,

I've been pushed past my breaking point,

I'm snapping at the joints.

Where were you when I needed you most?

I lost all common sense,

I lost all my hope...

I cried, wishing things could go back to the way they were.

A broken Heart laying there,

there will never be a cure.

In my final moments,

everything comes back in a rush,

as the sweeping of the currents

take me back to the start.

No one said it was easy,

it was such a shame we had to part,

no one said it was easy,

no one ever said it would have been that hard,

So, I'm being taken back to the start.

The start where I belong.
