| We Came Together Underneath The Stars |

WE CAME TOGETHER UNDERNEATH THE STARS

We came together underneath the stars above,

What started out as liking soon developed into love.

I sense a certain something that, in my heart, felt so true,

that I knew I waited all my life to fall in love with you.

What once was uncertainty,

soon blossomed into happiness, what came to be.

I always continued to wonder, how could something so wrong feel so right?

Then I began to think it had been love at first sight.

Even in death I will always cherish what we had together,

and even when it hurts, as you now love another.

For all that matters is your happiness, happiness I can no longer provide,

Now this, this brings bittersweet tears to my eyes.

I look at our beautiful creations, our tiny kits, as they grow,

they are our love living on, you know.

I hope the one that holds your heart holds it near,

if not, I'll have to make it clear.

Clear that your love is something that is to be prized.

Graystripe, I love you so much, and I'll always miss you in every way.

I do know one thing.

We will be together again one day.
