'Sugar, spice and everything nice, that's what about sums up what little girls are made of. Of course, when you weren't exactly expecting a child much less a daughter, it doesn't exactly help when your three-year-old daughter, a product of an unprotected one-night stand shows up on your front porch. It's been three years since I, Kelly Ann Stark ended up living with my father. By five, I knew how to take care of myself as well as him since he was STILL in his party boy stage. He was a grown man, but he acted like a child still. I'm six years now and I'm not that impressed with my father's way of life.' A voice explains while a beautiful blonde-haired girl with beautiful brown eyes walks the halls of her and her father's home. Kelly pulls up the video of her father's award ceremony and she listens to her adopted uncle, James Rhodes, nicknamed uncle Rhodey, introduce her father and she rolls her eyes.
"Yeah, he's goofing off again somewhere." Kelly says to herself, but gets a reply from the electronic butler. She walks towards her bedroom as she wore a nightgown.
"He has reminded me that it is past your bedtime." JARVIS says.
"How much would you like to bet he'll come home with a woman?" Kelly asks, "If I win, you make me pancakes in the morning."
"I'll prepare pancakes in the morning." JARVIS says.
"Chocolate please." Kelly says as she climbs into bed and JARVIS shuts the lights off.
The next morning, JARVIS makes chocolate pancakes in the morning before waking Kelly up before waking Tony's guest. Kelly sits eating at the kitchen table when the woman comes into the room. The woman squeals when she spots Kelly.
"Oh, hello." The girl says, "Who are you?"
"You are in my house." Kelly says.
"Uh, I'm Tony's guest." The woman says.
"Yep and that's why I'm eating pancakes." Kelly says.
"Right. Have you seen your father?" The woman asks.
"He's around." Kelly says, and she watches the woman walk away. When the woman finds something, JARVIS denies her entry to the room.
"That's JARVIS, he runs the house." Pepper suddenly says and the woman gasps.
"Jesus." The woman says.
"I've got your clothes here. They've been dry-cleaned and pressed, there is a car waiting for you outside to take you wherever you'd like to go." Pepper says. Kelly walks out of the kitchen after finishing her breakfast.
"You must be the famous Pepper Potts." The woman says.
"Indeed, I am." Pepper says.
"And who's the uh, kid?" The woman asks.
"Everyone knows about Kelly." Pepper says.
"After all these years, Tony still has you picking up the dry-cleaning." The woman says.
"I do anything and everything that Mr. Stark requires, including, occasionally, taking out the trash. Will that be all?" Pepper asks looking down at Kelly and grinning. Kelly grins before she looks back up at the woman. Kelly walks to head downstairs where Tony was while Pepper sees the woman out.
"Pepper seeing your guest out." Kelly says.
"Uh-huh." Tony says as he was tinkering with something. Pepper comes in and turns down the music.
"Don't turn down my music. How did she take it?" Tony asks.
"Like a champ." Pepper says, "Your flight was scheduled to leave an hour and a half ago."
"That's funny, I thought with it being my plane and all, that it would just wait for me to get there." Tony says.
"Tony, I need to speak to you about a couple things before I get you out the door." Pepper says.
"Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose if it departs before you arrive?" Tony asks.
"Larry called. He's got another buyer for the Jackson Pollock in the wings. Do you want it? Yes or no." Pepper says.
"Is it a good representation of his spring period?" Tony asks and snaps as he points to Kelly, "Shouldn't you be starting your homeschooling classes? What did I input that side of JARVIS for?"
"No. The springs were actually the neighborhood in East Hampton where he lived and worked, not "spring" like the season." Pepper asks.
"So?" Tony asks.
"I think it's a fair example. I think it's incredibly overpriced." Pepper says.
"I need it. Buy it. Store it." Tony says.
"Daddy." Kelly says in annoyance.
"Okay. The MIT commencement speech..." Pepper says.
"Is in June. Please, don't harangue me about stuff that's way, way, down..." Tony says.
"They're haranguing me, so I'm gonna say yes." Pepper says.
"Deflect it and absorb it. Don't transmit it back to me." Tony says, and Kelly crosses her little arms across her chest.
"I need you to sign this before you get on the plane." Pepper says.
"What are you trying to get rid of me for? What, you got plans?" Tony asks.
"As a matter of fact, I do." Pepper says.
"I don't like it when you have plans." Tony says.
"I'm allowed to have plans on my birthday." Pepper says.
"It's your birthday?" Tony asks.
"Yes." Pepper says.
"I knew that. Already?" Tony asks.
"Yeah. Isn't that strange? It's the same day as last year." Pepper says.
"Get yourself something nice from me." Tony says.
"I already did." Pepper says.
"And?" Tony asks.
"It was very nice." Pepper says.
"Yeah?" Tony asks, and Kelly rolls her eyes.
"Very tasteful. Thank you, Mr. Stark." Pepper says.
"You're welcome Ms. Potts." Tony says, "alright, I'm off. Kelly, have a wonderful day. JARVIS don't forget to make Kelly her meals and make sure she does her studies." He leaves, and Kelly looks at Pepper.
"He does know that you are a little genius, right?" Pepper asks.
"I'm considered a fourth grader in a kindergarten body." Kelly says before she walks away. Within a few days, the world gets word that Tony is missing.
