Tony calls Pepper's phone to apologize. He heads into someone's garage and sets up the Mark 42 suit on a couch before he begins to take the sensors for it out of his arms.

"Freeze! Don't move." A kid by the name of Harley says and Tony looks up at him with a raised eyebrow.

"You got me." Tony says and puts his arms up in defense, "Nice potato gun. Barrel's a little long. Between that and the wide gauge it's gonna diminish your FPS." Harley shoots a glass above Tony.

"And now your out of ammo." Tony says and puts his hands down.

"What's that thing on your chest?" Harley asks.

"It's an electromagnet. You should know, you got a box of them right here." Tony says.

"What does it power?" Harley asks and Tony thinks about the answer before he turns the light and steps out of the view of the Iron Man suit. Harley drops his potato gun.

"Oh my god! That's... That's... is that Iron Man?" Harley asks.

"Technically I am." Tony says.

"Technically, you're dead." Harley says and walks over to look at the suit after handing Tony a newspaper.

"You got a point." Tony says.

"What happened to him?" Harley asks.

"Life." Tony says, "I built him. I take care of him. I'll fix him."

"Like a mechanic? Kelly must be really worried about you." Harley says, "She's cute."

"She's not allowed to date until she's like... thirty." Tony says.

"If I was building Iron Man and War Machine..." Harley says.

"It's 'Iron Patriot' now." Tony says and Harley's mouth drops open in shock.

"That's way cooler!" Harley says.

"No, it's not." Tony says.

"Anyways, I would have added in, um, the retro..." Harley says.

"Retro-reflective panels?" Tony asks.

"To make him stealth mode." Harley says.

"You want stealth mode?" Tony asks.

"Cool, right?" Harley asks.

"That's actually a good idea. Maybe I'll build one." Tony says and Harley breaks off a finger, "Not a good idea."

"Oops." Harley says.

"What are you doing? You're gonna break his finger? He's in pain. He's been injured. Leave him alone." Tony says kind of scolding Harley.

"Sorry." Harley says.

"Are you?" Tony asks, "Don't worry about it, I'll fix it. So, uh, who's home?"

"Well, my mom already left for the diner and Dad went to 7-11 to get scratchers. I guess he won, because that was six years ago." Harley explains.

"Hmm. Which happens. Dads leave." Tony says, "No need to be a pussy about it."

"Like you've left Kelly?" Harley asks.

"I... I've wanted to be in her life. She's my little girl. I missed three years of her life before she mysteriously showed up on my door step." Tony says, "Those little... adorable blue eyes staring up at me... With a letter that contained an attached DNA test... She's my little girl, but... I want her to succeed. It's hard... conveying that to her."
