Chapter 50: "Going On Vacation!"

[Eight Months Later]

After Tony's death, Peter has been trying to keep Kelly happy. Kelly's fame in school was a lot bigger now because she had been on the frontlines to saving the world from what the world called the Blip. Peter is shown walking over to Ned as he had a plan.

"I have a plan." Peter says.

"Plan?" Ned asks.

"Yes! So, our school trip, I want to really make it special for Kelly." Peter replies, "Given the circumstances."

"Of course." Ned replies.

"So, I know I've told her I love her, but I really want to make it really special so during our trip I want to get some time for just the two of us." Peter states.

"And where is she now?" Ned asks.

"Oh, she told me to go ahead and come meet with you. She had to go to the ladies' room." Peter replies.

"Oh." Ned says.

"So, first since we're already scheduled to sit beside one another, with of course you in between us, you two will switch places so I can sit with Kelly." Peter explains, "And we're going to Venice, a place that is famous for making stuff out of glass and being one of the most romantic places in the world."

"True." Ned replies.

"I'm gonna buy her a gift there and when we go to Paris I'm gonna take her to the top of the Eiffel tower give her the gift, remind her how I feel and kiss her." Peter explains.

"Do you really need to go overboard? She's already in love with you." Ned explains.

"I know, but I just want her to get back to feeling like a normal girl." Peter replies.

"Yeah, she has had a lot of people haranguing her because she helped save the world." Ned replies.

"Shush, she's coming this way." Peter states as he looks over to see Kelly walking over with MJ.

"What up dorks?" MJ asks, "Peter, I just rescued your girlfriend from a mob of fans outside the bathroom."

"Thanks again, MJ, I could have handled them." Kelly replies.

"You're still recovering." MJ states, "So, what are you guys talking about over here?"

"Nothing, nothing." Peter says.

"Peter's got a plan." Ned blurts out.

"A plan? For?" Kelly asks.

"Nothing, nothing at all." Peter replies as Kelly sits down beside him with a confused look on her face. MJ walks away and Peter smiles at he takes Kelly's hand. Ned rolls his eyes.

"So, I'm going to do some errands before I go on patrol later before Aunt May's event. You wanna come along?" Peter asks.

"Sure, I've got nothing to do this afternoon." Kelly says and Peter nods.

After school, Peter and Kelly head to get his passport. Peter looks at the long line and he looks at Kelly. He grins at her and she raises her eyebrows confused at what he was going to do. He makes his little spider cam go into a closed booth and he makes the booth open.

"Hi, uh, can I get my passport?" Peter asks and the worker looks at him as she was eating her lunch.

They head to the new shop of the sandwich guy that he'd built thanks to Kelly's assistance and Peter gets the remaining items that he needed for the trip. The guy looks at Kelly who was standing by the door with her hood up to better hide herself from fans.
