Chapter 42: "A Shattered Young Heart!"

{Since Endgame is out, the music with this chapter is going to be... a music video I found and LOVE that has most of the trailer, scenes from Infinity War, etc. Not really much changed in this chapter except that I kept Daniel alive rather than make him get dusted.}

Shuri continues to work as fast as she can. The group continues fighting the space creatures and Rocket shoots things as he stood beside Bucky. Bucky grabs him and spins around as he fires his own gun. Rocket shoots his gun and Daniel laughs as he'd ducked.

"How much for the gun?" Rocket asks.

"Not for sale." Bucky says.

"Okay. How much for the arm?" Rocket asks.

"That's also not for sale." Daniel says.

"Oh, I'll get that arm." Rocket says and they return to the fight.

"New haircut?" Steve asks Thor.

"Yeah, I've noticed you've copied my beard." Thor says.

"Yeah." Steve says. Groot attacks some creatures.

"Oh, by the way, this is my friend, Tree." Thor says.

"I AM GROOT!" Groot says.

"I am Steve Rogers." Steve says. Strange things come from underneath the barriers. Natasha, Kali, Imari and Okoye look up as the things come straight towards them. Wanda arrives and she throws the strange things into the creatures behind them. Imari tilts her head in confusion.

"Why was she up there all this time?" Okoye asks.

"Guys, we got a Vision situation here!" Sam says before he's thrown.

"Somebody get to Vision!" Steve yells.

"I got them." Banner says.

"Me too!" Daniel says jumping as he grabs onto the Hulkbuster unit Banner was in.

"On my way—AH!" Wanda says as she attacked.

"He'll die alone. As will you." The woman says.

"She's not alone." Natasha says and Imari roars behind Natasha. Okoye readies her spear as well. The four women begin attacking the evil woman.

Vision continues to get attacked and Banner and Daniel arrive. Banner holds up the arms while Daniel held out his stars. Banner gets grabbed by the big guy that Tony had fought and Daniel flips off and throws his stars at the other guy. The weapons come back with ease fast enough to dodge the guy's attack. Banner has an argument with Hulk. Daniel lets out a scream as he's thrown. Steve arrives to help and Daniel and Steve fight the guy off.

Meanwhile the girls fight off the evil girl. Imari grabs her with her teeth just as she was going to attack Natasha and Imari sends the girl flying into her own weapon. Natasha looks up at Imari as she had blue blood on her face.

"That's disgusting." Natasha says.

Meanwhile, Steve and Daniel struggle against the guy. Daniel goes flying and he screams as he flies into a tree. He struggles to get up as Steve continues to fight the guy. Banner finishes off the big guy and he explodes overhead. Banner sighs as he talks to the Hulk about them working out their differences. Steve was moments from getting beaten when Vision stabs the guy with the guy's weapon.

"I thought I told you to go?" Steve asks.

"We don't trade lives, Captain." Vision says.
