I got Jake's snapchat today. He's the first one in a while to reach out and give me contact info like that. I'm not much for talking because I find myself being really awkward, but it was a kind gesture.
Vyctoria also texted me today. Sadly our texts feel a bit strained. The conversation just didn't flow and it felt awkward. Tayton has yet to message me back even though he agreed to catching up with me yesterday. Oh well I guess. Hopefully we can just talk soon. I really missed them both and I'm happy to have them back.
I slept through most of school today in all honesty. I've been so tired lately and I don't know what the deal is. Cutting back my prescription sleep medication isn't working at all either. Hopefully I get out of this sort of fog soon.
Tomorrow I'm probably going to do some volunteer work with my school and church. They're having a single parents fair and my German teacher asked if anyone would help her. I agreed to, so we'll see how that goes.
Oh, also, I showed Jake one of my poems today. It was the one I got published in the anthology. He liked it, which makes me happy. He did nitpick some of it, but I don't mind. I'm always happy to get constructive criticism. His main criticism was that he didn't like the words I chose to rhyme. To each their own, I guess. If you guys want to read the poem I'm talking about, it's the second one in my work titled In Darkness. The title of the poem is depression.
Anyways that's all for today. I'm off to bed. Goodnight.
