Chapter 20

I slept with Josh that night. I didn't want to be alone for another night. I told Josh the whole sorry about my sister. I wound up crying myself to sleep last night. I woke up early the next morning, my head resting on Josh's bare chest. Josh was still sound asleep and he looked adorable. His hair was all messed up, his mouth was slightly open, and his arms were wrapped tight around my body. I took a glance at the clock, and for once we were early. Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are never early, especially when they spend the night together. "Josh," I whispered, laying a hand on his chest. "Wake up. We have to get ready." He pushed me down and hugged me. "Five more minutes." He groaned while I pushed him away. "You can have five more minutes while I shower." I grabbed a pair of his sweatpants then headed to the bathroom. After my shower I pulled on a bra and underwear but stopped to evaluate my body. I think I was a little too skinny. I had stopped eating for a while last month. A soft knock shook me from my trance. "Jen? Are you okay, you've been in there for almost an hour." I quickly got dressed. I opened the door and smiled, "I'm fine."

Jason's plan was to tackle the hardest scenes first. That meant the spinning

Cornucopia was first. Me, Jena, Josh, and Sam all braced ourselves and held on tight. When Jena grabs onto my hand and plants her anchor in the ground, she didn't get a good grip and we both went tumbling into the ocean. We swam up to surface and started laughing. "That was awesome!" We yelled and jumped back on the island. Jena held through, except for when she was supposed to let me go. I didn't have to act like I was chocking, I almost was. I didn't get a good enough breath. I jumped onto the rocks and started coughing. "Katniss! Are you okay?"

Josh came running over, but slipped and fell into the water. We all burst into laughter. "You're a fucking idiot!" I laughed and I jumped in the water again.

Luckily, we didn't have to spin again. I jumped up from the water and crawled onto the rocks, coughing. "Katniss! Are you okay?" I gave a quick thumbs up and Josh helped me up. "Lets just get what we need and get off the bloody island." Jena shouted and walked away. "Cut!" Jason called just as it started raining. Me, Jena, Sam, and Josh all jumped in the water and started goofing around. We must have been in the water for close to an hour because Jason called us for lunch. We climbed out of the water to see ten boxes of pizza. "Pizza!" I screamed and grabbed a piece. Everyone sat together at the table but me and Josh sat on the beach. "Do you want to come over tonight? I miss my girl." I smiled as Josh kissed my head. "I guess. It'll be nice to have someone to talk to again. I did lose my best friend, twice." Referring to Ashley, then my big fight with Aaron. "Have you talked yet?" I shook my head. "No, I don't want to talk. So," I changed the subject. "What time should I come over?" "I can go to your house if you want." "Sure. I guess be over at 3ish." He nodded and I kissed his cheek before skipping off.
