A few days passed and it was Monday once again, which I was not pleased about.

It was just another boring day, wit the same routine. I get ready in the morning, eat breakfast, Luke comes over and then we both head over to school.

Once we got to the gates, we met up with Lily and the three of us walked over to mine and Luke's lockers.

As I finish putting away my lunch inside my locker, I take out my books for my first period.

Lily turns to me and says, "Tristan's coming to visit me today, you wanna come over to my house?"

"Oh I would love to, you know by being a third wheel and putting up with all your cute lovey dovey shit." I say sarcastically.

Tristan is like a brother to me and I really love him but whenever I hang out with them they usually always try annoy me with their intense PDA.

"Okay okay, I get it. It's a no." She says while putting her hands up defensively.

I laugh at her but it soon fades as turn my head around to see Cameron's face.

A smirk is prominent on his face as he passes by with a group of boys who he used to hang out with before Cameron went away.

I shake my head, wondering how on earth those boys could be so stupid to be friends with a guy like Cameron.

"Who is that guy?" Luke asks curiously.

"Someone you don't want to know. You don't have to worry about him as long as you don't associate with him." I warn him.

I really didn't want Luke knowing who he is because if he does find out, he'll most likely find out about mine and Cameron's past. I don't want him to think of me differently. I just want him to know the Emily I am now, not the one used to be before Cameron happened.

"Why does you get so tense around him? Do you know him well?"

"What? No I don't. He just doesn't look really friendly." I say with an unsure tone to my voice.

"Yeah you're right. He does look like an asshole." He laughs lightly.

I look over in Lily's direction and her facial expression matches my own.

I decide on cutting the conversation knowing that if I keep talking about him, the memory of our past will always be fresh on my mind. All I want is to forget about it because if I don't, I know that I will never have peace of mind.

As the three of us continue walking side by side towards our first period, Lily breaks apart from us and says goodbye as she walks off in a different direction towards her class.

Luke and I continue walking and our hands brush each other's.

I look over at him and he doesn't seem to think anything of it but he does has the smallest grin on his lips.

We sit at our usual seats as our teacher walks into the classroom and starts off by taking attendance. I stare out the window at the blue sky, recognizing that Luke's eyes look very similar in color.

As the hours pass by, I start to notice everything that's blue.
