24- Love & Pain

Athena's POV

We are here on the dean's office. Maybe Dark Arendale's office. Everyone are busy doing their own tasks. Life is truly full of ups and downs.

Napabalikwas ako ng may naglapag ng Kape sa table ko. Starbucks! Napatingin ako kay Dark na halos mukhang hindi nakatulog ng ayos at naguunat unat ito habang iniinom ang kape niya.

"How's the plan going?" Napatingin ako kay Steph na nagsalita. Plan? Yun ba yung ayaw nilang sabihin sa amin ni Martin?

I saw Matt shrugged. "Hmm, basically okay." Steph smirked.
Agad na nagbalikan sila sa kanya kanyang gawain. I cannot take this kind of environment! Tumayo muna ako at naglakad palabas ng office.

"Magpapahangin lang ako." I know those dark gaze came from him. Ang tahimik ng office I think dahil wala si Tifer. And maybe, Dark is truly happy about it. Nasaan nga yung kumag na yun?

Napadpad na ako ng paa ko dito sa Tree house. Naalala ko na naman ang lahat. The day I first saw him sleeping and cutting classes, the day he warned me and to top all, the day I hurt him.
I tried to compose myself and tried to move away from that place but a baritone voice made me stop to walk away.

"Many things happened though. Time flies so fast." Napatingin ako sa likod ko and I saw him. Dark Arendale's Gesture.

He was leaning back on the tree, both of his hands on his pocket and closed eyes. Ang kaibahan lang ay mukha siyang pagod at problemado. Unlike before, he was just simply bringin his Stoic Face that he has no problem at all.

"Indeed." Time truly passes by that we are not even talking to each other. I wanted to say this. He can't read my mind cause I was able to learned it from Matt.

"So you're gonna stand there forever?" Napalingon ako sa kanya at nagtama ang tingin namin. Agad niya din itong iniwas kaya't napabuntong hininga lang ako.

"Stop doing that. Your making me feel uneasy that you are with me." I am! Naglakad ako papunta sa bench sa tabi ng tree hous at umupo. He was still standing there, not even glancing at me. Humarap lang ako sa fish pond na may kakaibang kulay at nagniningin ito na para bang mga bituin.

"Same place. The first meeting.. First exhanging of feelings. Same place where their Ironic love story began..." He chuckled a little bit that made me look at him. Ironic Love Story?

"Who?" Instead of answering my question, he finally walked in front at napatigil sa harap ng pond. Still, not looking at me.

"Ares Clein and Zia Erato, if you will remember..." Those couple who have a tragic ending. The love story that truly marks my head.

"What about them?" Taas kilay kong sagot at napangisi siya.

"Maybe there's a lot things are still uncovered, especially the truth..." He put both of his hands on his pocket. "And some of them are already uncovered, but no one is taking the hell truth out."

There he goes again. Starting to tell something in a puzzled way.

"Can you please go straight to the point Dark?" I stood up and finally he looked at me.

"As far as I remember, saying the truth at point truly makes you shock. Do you really want all the things to be covered faster?" Matigas nitong sabi. Ad if I'm hell going to be afftected. Mahirap lang kasi na makipagtulungan kung lahat ng sikreto ay hindi sinasabi sayo.

"It was better than killing you slowly." I exchange a Dark gaze to him as he smirked.

"This place is their first live moments, first kiss, first heartbreak....and they tragic ending." Damn! I don't want to hear those anymore. It really affects me even if I am not Zia.
