Harry invited me to his game the next day, and I felt giddy at the idea of going to watch him on the field as — well, I didn't really know what I was to him. Not a girlfriend. Maybe just a friend. Yeah, just friends.

I asked Chelsea that afternoon if she'd like me to write an article about the game, but she smiled and said, "No, I can get someone else to cover this one. You just enjoy yourself tonight."

I blushed and thanked her. Everyone in the office pretty much knew Harry and I were kind of a thing, but I kept telling them it wasn't anything more than just close friends. . . who took each other on dates and slept at the same house. But they didn't need to know the last part.

I invited Leigh-Anne and Louis, I figured I'd have to make it up to him since Leigh-Anne saw my hickies before he did.

"I'm still salty about it, you know," he said with raised eyebrows as he typed up an email. "But yes, I'd love to accompany you to see your boy toy in action."

"He's not my boy, Louis." I rolled my eyes.

They both looked at me in unison and said, "He's your boy toy."

After work, we went to dinner and then headed to the stadium. Harry got me seats behind home plate, and from where we sat, we could see directly into the Jaguars' dugout.

I saw him near the end talking to the coach, his baseball cap held between his teeth as he adjusted his white belt. I bit my lip, remembering when he unbuckled his belt in bed. I blinked a few times, looking away and around at the crowd. The Jaguars were one of the most popular teams in the country, so it didn't take long for the seats to fill up.

"Hey, Harry's waving at you," Louis nudged my side, and I turned my head to see those dashing green eyes looking at me intensely.

I smiled and sent a small wave, and he returned with a wink and a cocky grin.

"He's so hot." Louis commented, and Harry turned away from us to grab his glove, and Louis groaned silently. "Seriously, look at that áss. Jesus, I wish he would swing for the other team. Pun intended."

I rolled my eyes with a laugh, and Leigh-Anne said, "Quit staring at Vivian's man, Lou. There are two baseball teams here; I'm sure one will catch your eye that you can take claim of."

Louis rolled his eyes and said, "But I want that one."

"He doesn't play for your team, Louis." She said.

"I could persuade him. Seriously, just imagine that áss on my —,"

"Enough." I said, placing my hand over Louis' mouth. "Have you quite finished?"

He shot me a look and slowly nodded. I laughed and removed my hand from his mouth, deciding to look up the rosters on our phones to find Louis his own man from either team.

After the game started, the Jaguars were ahead by one run in the bottom of the fifth. Harry was doing extremely well up until the opposing team scored two runs, catching up fast. I could tell he was flustered, but all I could do was sit anxiously in my seat and pray this game would just end right now.

He threw a ball on the inside, shaking his head when the catcher threw it back to him. We had two strikes, we just needed one more, but I could tell he was overthinking it.

"Come on, Harry." I said, just loud enough for him to hear. He rolled his lips between his teeth, getting in his stance before throwing an insane fastball, striking out the batter. "Yes!" I cheered, clapping as the Jaguars ran off the field to bat.
