The weather was surprisingly nice on this late, October morning. As I sat on the balcony, my coffee in hand, I took in the beautiful view of the Seattle skyline. We had been back for a few days now, and unpacking was moving extremely slowly because Harry kept wanting to take me sight-seeing around the city instead of furnishing the condo.

I loved living in an apartment again. As much as I loved Harry's house back in Portland, it wasn't in the middle of the busy city life; now we we lived so much closer to all the shops and markets and even the stadium wasn't that far from us.

I shivered as a cool breeze swept over me, and I took a quick sip of my coffee before getting up and heading back inside. Looking around the living room, I sighed at all the unopened boxes with Harry's handwriting on them. I loved seeing "Vivian's stuff" written in his own penmanship. The fact that he went through every box and labeled them because he was so excited that I was moving with him.

Now that the Seattle Jaguars' stadium had been fully rebuilt, training would begin for the off-season. For a few months they will practice and train, prepare for the draft, and continue into next season. I hadn't ever predicted that I'd become an athlete's wife, but I was beyond excited for the adventures ahead.

Alex still wasn't Harry's friend, and Tanner was in prison for god knows how long. Louis and Leigh-Anne kept in touch every day to ask about Seattle — and Harry, of course. Harry let Martha move in with his parents so they could have someone to cook and help around the house for them since they were getting older, and she'd been with him for so long that he couldn't fathom the idea of letting her go. She was his family.

The front door opened and Harry walked in, clad in a gray hoodie and black joggers. He pulled his headphones out of his ears upon seeing me awake at this hour.

"Good morning," he smiled. "Why are you up? It's too early."

"Couldn't sleep," I shrugged. He walked over to me and pressed a firm kiss to my lips. "But Seattle looks beautiful at this hour."

"Did you catch the sunrise?" He grinned as he walked over to the balcony. "I made sure we got this side of the flat so you could see it every morning."

I blushed and made my way over to him. "I caught it towards the tail end. It's beautiful."

Ever since the Series had ended and Harry asked me to marry him, he's been so much more open about his feelings; he dropped the "bad boy" persona and he's so much more lovey-dovey and touchy. It made me happy watching him slowly become more open about affection and being honest with his emotions. It was a complete turnaround from the first time we met.

His curly hair tickled my face as he pulled me close, watching Seattle slowly come to life as the sun rose higher and more people started heading out to their jobs.

"Hey, Harry?" I said softly. He turned to look at me, his green eyes twinkling as he smiled at me.

"Yeah, love?"

"Can you please get your sweaty armpit off me and go shower?"

He playfully nudged me as I laughed, but he kissed my forehead and headed off to the bathroom, shouting, "Don't miss me too much!" and finally shut the door. I chuckled and left the balcony, shutting the door and beginning to work on emptying the boxes in the living room. Most were Harry's trophies or little trinkets from my family. We still hadn't broken the news to them, or Leigh-Anne and Louis that Harry had proposed. He wanted to get a ring first and one announcement at a time was enough for them.

When I had told my parents that I had landed a job with the Seattle Jaguars, they were ecstatic. I was finally climbing in my career and they wished me nothing but happiness. They hadn't met Harry in person yet, which, stressed me out to the max, but they had conversed over video calls a few times, so they did know that we were really dating and I wasn't just lying to get them to stop asking me to find a boyfriend.
