League of Flames

By SanjeevanPaul

Just another set of poems written by just another poet...... Actually, poems about fire🔥🔥

Cover/Blurb/Title

Cover • I really like the cover. It works well and has to do with the story. I can read everything, so it's nice.

Blurb • There isn't much of a blurb. You don't sound confident in it and make the poems seem as if they are worth little. I recommend you write something that makes fire seem majestic and epic to really hook the reader. Maybe have a line from one of your poems, as they are lovely. These poems are good, so I hope you change the blurb so it'll hook readers.

Title • This title is perfect. It doesn't need to change. It sounds good and it's creative. It fits well with this story.

Descriptions

I could accurately imagine everything in the story, and I loved the fire imagery. For poetry, the descriptions were great.

Characters

I was surprised when there were actual characters in some stories, and not just the author. I could feel the emotions of the characters surprisingly, and I liked that the poems had stories to them.

Plot/General Writing

The writing was beautiful. I enjoyed the style and fondly read. In fact, I liked it so much that I read all of the poems instead of just the first few chapters.

Grammar

The grammar was very good. I only saw a few mistakes. They weren't even very big, as it was something small like a missing comma.

Reader Engagement

This story was very engaging. I loved reading these poems, shockingly never growing bored of the fire theme. It always had new twists, and you made fire an amazing thing. I read the whole thing, as I said earlier, since I was so engrossed.

Overall

4.75 stars out of 5

Great story! I loved the poems! Just change the blurb so it makes these lovely poems seem important and gives a sense that you're confident when writing. Other than that, great! Even if you aren't too fond of poetry, I still recommend this poem book, as it was stunning.
