it's been about 3 weeks since the tour had started. it all seemed to just fly by so fast. we were all getting ready for the show in new york.
the show started and i was doing the usual, standing back stage singing along quietly, while waiting for them to finish.
after "these girls," the music stopped.
jonah stepped forward.
"i would like to dedicate this song to a very wonderful girl. she is the closest you can get to perfect." he spoke, obviously super nervous.
"who is it?" I whispered to his manager.
he just shrugged, and had a huge smile on his face.
"i want to call you mine." jonah continued, "i just want you to know, when i picture myself happy, i picture myself with you."
i looked in shock as he faces towards me and said, "raegan marie seavey, i love you more than you'll ever know."
i started to tear up.
"do you wanna be my beautiful girlfriend?" he asked as the crowd went wild.
"yes!" i shouted as i hugged him. he pulled back just to kiss me. the audience cooed, and i couldn't help but to feel like the luckiest girl alive. i walked back off of the stage, with people still going wild.
the boys, especially jonah, sang with more passion than i have ever seen before for the rest of the show. jonah kept looking back to see me with a huge smile on my face.
i was so genuinely happy
