Leonardo: Give me one reason why I shouldn't swerve and give the car a dip in the river.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
But sometimes the heart sees what the eye doesn't.

Oh Skylar... I chuckle to myself while thinking about that overly enthusiastic ball of sunshine. I love him to death, but sometimes he's a little too loud and too active. If Brason, who decided to keep up on painting, were to have come with us, it would've done a lot to balance the crazy to docile ratio. Considering it is 2 for 2 with Lance and I getting completely plummeted by Sebastien and his son. I'm really showing my old bones now, aren't I?
The long road trip up to Whistler is a success, it's now well into the afternoon and I can't think of anything better than to enjoy the spa and relax before engaging in more rigorous activities, probably a few different things that are hosted by the hotel.
Sebastien will probably set up specific events that capitalize on the relatively cooler summer climate here, a hike sounds about right. However, right now, I just want to submerge myself in hot water and get myself ready for the dinner tonight.
Apparently, Sebastien is introducing me to Skylar as his boyfriend, it's a formal procedure that doesn't really need to be done considering Skylar had already taken the liberty of sitting next to me the whole way from home to Whistler. I sincerely wonder how Lance is going to hold up, but then again, he is far younger than I am. Lance's nephew, Taylor, apparently was going to spend a few days at a friend's place, though, neither Skylar or Lance seem to like the idea of leaving without him.
A hand lands on my robed ass, making me jerk forward with a curse. I turn around to see Sebastien standing with a towel around his waist, chest and abs out to say hello to the world. He's got a far more appealing 'dad bod' than I do, of course. Exercise and I get along about as well as cats and mice go together.
"Let's go relax our ass off!" Sebastien exclaims, looping one of my arms around his. Incredibly emasculating? Yes. Do I like walking around like Sebastien's wife? Also, yes.
"Please keep your voice down, your son has a wonderful voice, but he's loud as hell." I recall the events in the car, or rather 'event' since Skylar never stopped once. He's got a killer singing voice, but for me it's only healthy in small doses.
"Damn right he does. He's got half my genes in him." Sebastien shrugs, while fixing my glasses for me.
"Are you going to walk with a towel around your waist like that?" I question his discretion for not wearing something more. "We have to walk across the lobby and into the changing room."
Sebastien takes the chance to bounce his chest muscles, making me blush. "Not everyone is fortunate enough to see the goods every day. Of course, you only need to say you're jealous and I'll gladly put a robe on." I look away from him and unloop my arm. Now I question whether he even has his underwear on. The man is a little too confident in himself.
"Let's just go." I wave my hand and grab a keycard. I don't mean to come off as annoyed, if anything, I'm probably more impressed at his willingness to crack a joke despite the still slightly awkward atmosphere between us. I have full intentions of making it better and filling in that dead air though, it's about time we take action after talking things out. For far too long has it been all talk and not much of anything else.
Taking a deep breath, I comb my hair down with my fingers. Before I even take another step, Sebastien walks up behind me and lays his hands on my hips and his chin on my shoulder while bending down slightly. "Are you stressed out? I'm sorry if forcing you to come with me was a mistake." He sounds very sincere.
